I headed over to Silverstone on Saturday afternoon to shoot the Hankook 24hr Race with my new 100-400mm on my X-T10. It was a great experience and the kit worked superbly well, despite the challenging conditions... I for one hope Fuji keeps improving their video quality. This got me thinking, canon has the popular hack of Magic Lantern which enables full 14bit raw recording (albeit at lower realities and for limited time). However Fuji raw files are massive, but their jpegs rule. I wonder if Fuji has considered implemented a similar approach (ie 1080p jpegs at 24fps, or higher resolution and frame rates). And then maybe a incamera to stitch them together for people who want it right then. This is probably very niche, but Fuji doesn't have any video line to protect like most of the other companies. I really don't want to have two sets of cameras and lenses etc.

I just switched from Nikon to Fuji about two months ago! I sold my Nikon D750, D5200 and lenses and bought the X-T1, X-E1 (backup body) and the X-100 as a travel camera. I also got the 56mm 1.2 R, the 23mm 1.4 and the Rokinon 10mm 2.8. I've done one wedding so far and several real estate jobs and I am in love with Fuji! Their lens selection is superb and their primes are to drool over. Knowing what I could get from their lenses was the deciding factor in my decision to switch. I'm in love with the X-T1. It has spoiled me for DSLR's. I never want to go back. There is something about shooting with Fuji's that inspires and is enjoyable. Fuji camera's also have some much class and style. In my opinion, the graphite silver X-T1 is the best looking digital camera on the market, followed very closely by the X100 series. I love photography and Fuji's enhance that love. They inspire creativity. I'm so happy to have the Fuji community to be able to connect with! Attached is a shot I got of my wife in a hotel room several weeks back. Taken with the X-100.

Hello there, I recently 'beefed up' to the Fuji 18-135mm zoom for my X-E1 and gave it a quick spin just recently. I wrote a few initial impressions here: https://mikeosbornphoto.com/2016/03/03/come-closer/ I already have the 18-55 kit and 60mm macro. Where would you think of going next? And how about non-native lenses that sit well with the Fuji system? Many thanks for your advice in advance, With best wishes from Mike

I'm in the process of selling my Nikon gear. The only thing that has held me back is that I love the Nikon TTl Flash system. I own A SB700 and some Pocket Wizards for the Nikon units. I also own the X-T1 and Fuji EF-42 Flash unit. I want to be able to use mySb700 either on the camera with a trigger, or remotely (short range) Does anyone make these units? I'd love to hear back from someone. I would appreciate it if it works on TTL Many Thanks Guys J

After months and months of being without my "don't leave home without it lens" the Fuji 18-55, and only having used primes, today I finally found a brand new one online which I just ordered! I am so excited! I love my primes, but the 18-55 is just so darn convenient! Am I right?! I just loved my copy -- unfortunately one of my kids "borrowed" it with my X-T1 and I've yet to get it back so enough waiting... Price was right; Brand new US model, Bought it! Yeah!

Do you know what the widest rectilinear X-Mount prime lens currently available is and how good they are? I’ve heard great things about the Samyang 12mm, but what about the Samyang 10mm; is the quality good and the distortion low? There is the Venus Laowa 9mm apparently being launched, but I have seen scant information on this and whilst the images look good, they only come from one source. In any case, it’s not yet released, so I’d prefer not to wait. Are there any other rectilinear prime x-Mount lens choices below 12mm?

I've recently borrowed this lens from Hamish Gill to try it on my Fuji X-E2s and write short review of 7artisans 12mm F2.8 lens on 35MMC Here's also related 7artisans 12mm F2.8 Flickr public group for lens samples I've purchased this lens after writing review, and now just waiting for better weather to make more live shots. Also the partial disassembly is planned soon : ) Please let me know if you have any questions on this lens, will be happy to share more details. 7artisans 12mm F2.8 shot with Fuji X-E2s

Hello fellow togs I'm new to this forum but not Fuji I've been with Fuji through both film and digital decades I have 5 Film bodies 8 Dslrs a HS-10 bridge and now numerous X bodies and XF lenses. I moved into the X system with a special offer on the Xpro 1 and a couple of XF prime lenses in late 2015. And earlier this year Fuji released a camera with what I had been asking about for a number of years that of course is the XH1 with the ibis system

I bought a used Fujifilm X-T1 from B&H with a 9+ condition. Knowing that it's a reputable company I am confident that the item was thoroughly checked when they got it from the previous owner. To cut the chase. While I was tinkering with the settings of the cam and how it functions, I was excited to try the wireless transfer feature. Thus, pressing the wifi button to try transfer or control the camera through wifi. But every time I pressed it the camera will just load the screen with the wireless thingie and when the green wireless signal icon flashed it suddenly freezes. Turning the camera off doesn't seem to work and I have to remove the battery to exit from it. Any advice on how to fix this? I'm on the latest firmware, by the way. I assume and hope that it's firmware problem and can get it fixed on the next update.

Gentlemen, Now that some of you lucky dogs have the X-T2 can you tell me what size a full-sized raw file is? I've seen some X-T2 raw's around the 22mb mark, but I'm wondering because my X-T1 cranks out a 33mb raw file. Many Thanks.

Why wasn't Full Frame mentioned in any of the poll questions? I know it's what I want to see from Fuji more than anything, it's always brought up on forums and has been since day 1 of the x100. The support for Fuji to make a FF seem overwhelming. And with the recent news of FF A7 cameras sending Sony's mirrorless sales way up... And Leica dropping a FF with fixed lens next week... It just seems relevant. The world is waiting for a FF x100! (And Ideally one with a fast 50mm )
