Hello there, I recently 'beefed up' to the Fuji 18-135mm zoom for my X-E1 and gave it a quick spin just recently. I wrote a few initial impressions here: https://mikeosbornphoto.com/2016/03/03/come-closer/ I already have the 18-55 kit and 60mm macro. Where would you think of going next? And how about non-native lenses that sit well with the Fuji system? Many thanks for your advice in advance, With best wishes from Mike

I wish I could just chuck my gear around ! So many people seem to be able to use their Fujis like workhorse tools.. they get beaten up, grazed and scratched but are always instantly ready to capture an image. On the contrary.. I keep mine safe, wrapped in leather cases with lens caps AND skylight filters, they all still look like new. Somehow I can't bring myself to let them get messed up. I think I need help !

Hi there, I am shooting a conference this weekend and could use some advice regarding best settings for the X-T2, specifically regarding settings for auto focus. The conference will be badly lit (of course!) and no flash is allowed so am going to be shooting wide open mainly using f1.2 or f1.4. In single shot, single point focus this wouldn't be too much of a problem but in burst mode I tend to find the first image is perfectly focused and the next ones in the series are slightly off due to movement from the speaker (and I would like to make use of the 11 frames per second). My feeling would be to set the camera to continuous, and have a relatively small square area of coverage, but am not sure what the best settings would be to use in the new auto focus settings setup menu? Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Jason.

Hi all, Need some advice! Just got this x100v (new) from a reputable eBay seller. However after receiving it, I couldn’t help but notice the shutter (I think that’s it) looks kinda TORN or BROKEN!? It works fine (i think, amateur dad shooter) and when I turn it on it shoots fine (see last pic of camera on). Should I send it back or is this a common thing?

Hello everyone, My name is Matt, I am from France and a newcomer into the world of photography. I love travelling, and just spending time in nature so I decided to try to learn how to take proper pictures to print them when I come back home. And that's why I am here ! After spending hours looking at cameras, trying to decide how much I could afford to spend and how I was gonna use it, I ended up looking at 2 kits in the same price range and I need some advices. I am planning on going to Iceland during this winter, of course like everyone I would like to take some nice shots of landscapes and Northern Lights (if I am lucky) so which kit would be the best for it : X-S10 + XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR or X-T3 + XF 18-55mm F2,8-4 OIS I know the X-T3 is WR but not the lens coming with it, and it look like this lens is better for Northern Lights but not really good for landscapes. And it seems like it's exactly the opposite for the X-S10 kit. (WR lens but not the camera, and it is really good for landscape but not for astro)😅😅 Sadly I can't afford to buy another lens yet. Thank you in advance for any advices !
