  1. Hi Fujian! Currently own X-T1 with 23mm 1.4. I decided to get another lens since I need certain focal range for my work. My type of photography : Event/Wedding = 30% Travel/Landscape = 30% Portrait = 40% So far what I had in my mind:- 1) 18-55 & 56mm 2) samyang 12mm & 56mm 3) 16-55 I need some opinion. I did some extensive research but still can't decide. Which path will you go?
  2. Question for all the stage and theater shooters out there. I've been using my XT2 and 18-55 to shot my theater work and am thinking about getting the 16-55. Will it be worth it? Seeing that the 16-55 will not have OIS and the 18-55 does. My typical stage shots are set to 1/60s-1/120s at iso1600 or 800 if I am lucky with the lights, and the 18-55 usually wide opened. Am I going to get any sharpness advantage with the 16-55? Yes, I can get the new XH1 but the size and price of that camera do not agree with me. Also, I do not shoot video at all so even less of an incentive for me to get the camera. Any input from professional shooters out there who does stage work with Fuji is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Attached is a typical stage shot that I do.

  5. Hey everybody, i want to buy a Fuji X-T1 with one of the kit lenses. Following lenses are available: 18-55 18-135 16-55 10-24 I already own following Fuji Primes: 23, 27, 35, 56 I am also interested in what color would you choose for the X-T1...silver or black? I am open to you recommendations. Thank you very much. Patrick
  6. Out of the lenses i'm thinking of getting, the only one i want and will eventually get even if i go for the 16-55, is the 35mm 1.4. So my options are : 1. 16-55 F2.8 WR or 2. Samyang 12mm F2, XF 35mm F1.4 and XF 27 f2.8 The reason of the 27mm is because it comes together with a 35mm in a very good promotion in my country. And i'd still be able to afford the samyang for a wider range shooting. What i mainly shoot ?! Street Photography, portrait and landscapes. I'll eventually use my lenses a few times for night photography and for a few events a cover (weddings, parties, but i don't do this often). If i go for the 16-55, basically i'll have the workhorse for the few times i get paid for my photography. If i go for the fixed lenses 12,27,35, i feel my street photography will improve and get better results. I know in the end it's a personal decision, but i'd still like to get some opinions, probably from owners of all these lenses. So... what would your option be ? thank you for your time.
