  1. They've never been doing that on any Fujifilm camera. I agree it would be a useful feature though.
  2. That medium format camera looks smaller than I thought. Nice.
  3. True, but it would be confusing. I think you should avoid dials that have different functions depending on the shooting mode. In that respect, I think the current implementation on the X-E2 is the correct one.
  4. Nothing wrong with 4:3 in my opinion. Applicable to a wide range of subjects.
  5. Fujifilm and flash support remains a sketchy situation. I fail to understand why.
  6. I don't feel that sentiment really; it's just a company, like the other companies. Of course I hope that Fujifilm stays in business with the X-cameras, because of the XF lenses that I put money in. But I really don't care if Fujifilm or Sony or Nikon become market leader. The only thing I care about is that they make a camera that works for me (small, lightweight, hybrid viewfinder, excellent stills capability, as battery efficient as possible). If another brand chooses to specialise in 3D photography, video, or online media integration, that's perfectly fine with me. Fujifilm make great cameras with the X-Pro and X100 series. As long as they keep doing that, I am happy.
  7. I would like to know the same please; does the store only ship to Canadian addresses?
  8. First you want to throw your gear from the roof, then smash it against the wall, and now drown it? It looks to me like you are seeking attention in an unhealthy way. I am afraid we cannot help you. Drown your gear, if you like, but above all, find someone who can really help you. I wish you all the best!!
  9. Modern cameras are too complicated, I think.
  10. Did you use the disp-back button to select the custom view?
  11. Then you are setting it for the EVF instead of the LCD, I guess.
  12. Losing battle, I am afraid. I could even imagine Tapatalk disallowing you to remove that line in one of their future versions.
  13. I am all for a separate video line: that way others get what they want (high end video) and I don't need to pay for it (in terms of money, weight, or extra buttons).
  14. Yes, it's been like that since the X-Pro1 already. I don't use it that much really.
  15. Did you set it in the LCD menu? Correct view mode?
  16. My X100T was stolen recently [emoji22] I'm waiting now for what the travel insurance covers, and then I have to decide between a 2nd hand T or a new F. Gravitating towards the T right now. Two reasons; I was perfectly happy with the capabilities of the X100T, and of course the money.
  17. Just look at the number of lens elements specified for each.
  18. I don't know, and I don't really care; every tool has its place. I guess both types of camera will keep evolving for quite some time.
  19. Umm ... just look at the post right above yours?
  20. True, but I still think video deserves its own subforum. It's very important for those who use it, and pretty irrelevant for those who are only interested in photo capabilities. And video is different enough from still photography to justify a separate section, in my opinion.
  21. Well, we're probably not interested in video ... just a guess. Why not ask the forum admins to create a specific Video with X-series subforum? Then you have all video related questions and feature suggestions in a central place. That also increases the chance that Fujifilm will read, and act on, the suggestions.
  22. @TS: great idea; I submitted my answers too.
