  1. How's your heart?
  2. There's always a deal just after you bought something. Fact of life.
  3. Wasn't that the same discussion with the X-T1 and the X-T10?
  4. I have none of these two. But owning the X-Pro1 and the X-T1, I am leaning towards the X-Pro2.
  5. Could you please stop repeating how many rumours you got correct? It's getting a bit pedantic, in my opinion.
  6. No, just wondering why you call something "BS" without trying it.
  7. Don't overlook the X-E2(s) ... more ergonomic than the X-T10 for me.
  8. Not difficult at all. Once you have setup the camera, you hardly need the menu. That is at least true for the X-T1.
  9. Exactly; I got my 27mm for €175 NIB. Grey import, but still.

This is where the EVF shines ... it would be a lot harder to nail the exposure using the OVF only. Danske Industri - Copenhagen
  11. I am late to the party, but after using the X-Pro1 for a week exclusively again, I disagree. The X-T1 is faster indeed (I would be a fool to say otherwise), but the optical viewfinder and the handling of the X-Pro1 are still superior to me. I love the hybrid viewfinder. I mainly use the optical VF, but a flick of the switch (or a press of the thumb wheel in MF mode) brings me to the EVF when I need it. The buttons are in the right place, and have the right size on the X-Pro1. Of course this is subjective. Being a left eyed shooter, the X-Pro1 viewfinder location works better for me than that of the X-T1 The tactile experience of the X-Pro1 is better for me than the X-T1 ... of course that does not make better photos And equally important, I love the SOOC JPEG images of the X-Pro1. I know the X-T1 basically has the same sensor, but the JPEGs out of the camera do look differently for me.
  12. Flying with the X-Pro1 and the 18mm (Pro-Neg Hi / DR 200%)
  13. I decided not to part with my camera money for the X-E2 as well, based on my own doubts and the opinions expressed here and on the "other" forum.
  14. That's actually a good idea. But then I still like the position of the X-E's viewfinder better. Apart from the manual focus capabilities (compared to the X-T1) I am actually happy enough with the X-E1.
  15. Currently I have a X-E1, which I mainly use with the 27mm (brilliant), and which I used with MF lenses. However, the X-T1 is so much better with manual focus that the X-E1 really feels limited now. For those who upgraded from the X-E1 to the X-E2; how much better were the new EVF and focus peaking options in practice for you? On paper, the X-E2 should be more useful, but did you think the difference was worth it? Currently there are some good deals on the X-E2, both outlet and second hand (with warranty). What I am wondering is where the X-E2 sits between the X-E1 and the X-T1, when looking at the MF capabilities. X-T10 is not an option for me; I have held that camera a few times, and it's too small for me.
  16. You probably have made a decision already but I am very surprised that you haven't gotten any response to your question. My copy of the SMC Takumar 135mm suffered from CA a lot. I never tried any Canon FD lenses, so I can't say how they compare. OTOH, my SMC Takumar 55/1.8 is one of my favourite lenses.
  17. 5.01 is supposed to fix that.
  18. True. I even don't know how video works on the X-cameras.
  19. I think anyone who upgraded to the X-T2 will think it's worth it ... they've spent the money already anyway I think it's really up to you; do you want the camera enough to justify spending the money?
  20. My X-Pro1 went to Fujifilm Service for a very similar issue.

  22. Same for me with the X-T1 and the X-Pro1. After Fujifilm replaced the viewfinder assembly and some electronics, the camera has performed flawlessly. With the X-T1, I probably just have bad luck. Which is a bit of a downer, since it is a great camera otherwise. Though I still like my X-Pro1 a bit more, due to the very useful optical viewfinder.
  23. @milandro my X-E1 is still extremely reliable indeed. My wife uses that camera now, but I might steal it one day [emoji14]
