  1. Well, not sure how many angels or pinheads you need for the camera shutting down by itself, or the viewfinder going black, but those are pretty annoying angels then. Again, the way that issues are handled by Fujifilm Service is great, IMO, but I feel that I had substantially less issues with my Canon cameras. In fact, my nephew still uses my old 20D. I am not sure if the Fujifilm digital cameras will survive that long.
  2. For the record; third party does not have to mean cheap or low quality. If Duracell ever decides to bring out Fujifilm compatible batteries, I'll be first in line to order them, based on my experience with them when I used Canon cameras. They were not that much cheaper than the OEM batteries, but held a better charge, and showed far less ageing. Unfortunately Duracell does not offer a NP-W126 substitute. Or at least did not when I last checked. I settled on Hähnel because they also have a good reputation, and have a clear warranty statement. Edit: just Googled, and it seems they do offer NP-W126 batteries now indeed! Whenever my Hähnels get worn out, I know what I will choose.
  3. The Samyang 12mm is not bad for sunstars either.
  4. It never bothered me really. The speed of the memory card was a bigger factor in my case.
  5. Focus peaking is better, and more visible due to the selectable colours.
  6. The EVF of the X-E2 is better for manual focus too, in my opinion.
  7. Thanks, I have seen the X-T1 graphite, and it was definitely greyish to my eyes.
  8. I never understood the craze about the grey-silver X-T1, and that's no difference with the X-T2 and X-Pro2. I like my cameras simple and black. No fancy prints or colour designs for me.
  9. My 18-135 doesn't even have really much play, but it is obviously enough movement to break the electrical connections.
  10. Today I decided that my X-T1 / 18-135 kit goes back to Fujifilm. There is so much rotational play that the viewfinder blacks out when I zoom the lens I hope they will be able to fix either the lens or the camera!

  13. Apart from an issue with my X-PRO1, which was solved by Fujifilm Service, I have not had any problems with the Fujifilm cameras.
  14. Then I would wait indeed. Your X-T1 won't suddenly stop working.
  15. Playing around with the 27mm and monochrome mode (X-T1 SOOC JPEG)
  16. For amateurs, it's usually worth to skip one or two generations, I would think. I am waiting for the X-Pro3 to maybe replace my current X-Pro1 (or buy a X-Pro2 at a discount by that time).
  17. I am probably too thick to see the relevance of your comment.
  18. What do you want to do with the X-T2 that your current camera can not do? Only you can determine if that's worth the money.
  19. Most people got the 27mm lens in the X-PRO1 deal. I must say that its compactness is a definite advantage. Other than that, the 23mm f/2 probably is a very good choice.
