The answer is probably no ... but is there any way to map the AF-L function on another button than the AE-L and AF-L buttons, on the X-T1? I cannot understand how this button can be so ergonomically placed on the X-Pro1, and so awkward on the X-T1!

Each time the resolution of digital increases, the claimed resolution of 35mm film increases as well.

It's a company, with stock holders and balance sheets.

Nobody outside the Fujifilm company knows when the X100F will be in the shops. And many within the company probably don't as well.

Viewfinder showing actual picture condition ?
johant replied to like a bause's topic in Fuji X-T1 / Fuji X-T10
How do you want to see the effect of shutter speed in the viewfinder? -
For a wise woman she surely looks grumpy. Very nice capture; I love the colours.

Use our Fujis as workhorse tools or keep them pristine?

With the skin peeling tendencies of the Fujifilm cameras, I think that leather cases still fulfill a purpose. -
Why would Fujifilm put development time for new features into a (nearly) discontinued model?

A Dutch photographer I know got a 4mp photo published in National Geographic ... granted, that's a few years ago already.

Each time I look at the photos I made with the 35/1.4 I am impressed with the rendering of that lens (e.g. wood grains). I have not tried the f2 but I am very happy with the 35/1.4 lens!

I usually share my photos on the German sister site ... much more action over there. The global site is great for rumours and gossip

The good thing is; once you get to buy it, the first firmware updates will have been released. So it will be a better camera.

Fujifilm XF 23mm f2 lens - REVIEWS HERE
johant replied to Bjorn Moerman PHOTOGRAPHY's topic in Fuji X Lenses
Danke! Du hattest noch keine Möglichkeit das definitive Objektiv zu testen? Jedenfalls ist das 23/2 für mich jetzt schon eine "Muss haben" Linse! -
Maybe, but I like my X-Pro1 more than my X-T1. The X-Pro2 is overkill for me, but I would have loved a slightly updated X-Pro1 (e.g. better MF assist aids).

Hallo Sascha, viel Spaß mit dem Neuen! Ich muss gestehen dass ich die X-T2 noch überhaupt nicht angeschaut habe, aber Du wirst daran sicher Freude haben!

To be fair, if Fran turns out to be a guy, then the sales guy crossed the line as well. Regarding lenses; the sweet spot for old lens designs, in my opinion, seems to be 50 - 135mm.

Maybe, but it also adds protection when you accidentally scrape against a wall or rock. If the case is designed well, I see mostly advantages in using it. -
Yes, that is one of the few 'old' lenses I really love, together with my Pentax SMC Takumar 55mm. But in general, Fujinon XF lenses like the 35/1.4 are really good. So you're not missing too much when not trying older lenses, in my opinion.

The 27mm is a great performer. I sold it for three reasons; too clinical rendering, slightly longer than I wanted, and the lack of an aperture ring. The third reason is more a slight nuisance than a real issue. Definite pros of the 27mm are that the lens is really sharp, and that it's nicely small.

Same treatment as the ILC cameras regarding new features, instead of only bug fixes.
