  1. I guess they sent out a last call notification. Up to the client to determine how much stock they still need.
  2. Yes, the user interface is not very intuitive. But the results are great, in my opinion.
  3. That sounds very strange; Canon was still able to change the main board of my 5D in 2011; seven years after the camera was introduced. I would not expect Fujifilm to be much worse. Good luck, and I hope it gets sorted out!
  4. We basically have the same climate, and I have never bothered about WR really. I even shot outside in the rain with a Canon 30D (no ill effects, but of course I would not advise it). I personally would go with two primes; a wide angle and a short tele. Of course, being near salt water would mean extra care!
  5. 16mp sensor, compressed RAW support, AF-L sensor in the proper place (where you can easily reach it with your thumb), and it's all good.
  6. I have a Pentax SMC Takumar 55mm lens that I love.
  7. I contacted the "Consumentenbond" on this price fixing a few months ago ... never heard anything back. I guess Fujifilm or the dealers use a legal loophole. I bought my latest Fujifilm gear from outside the EU; best way to protest is with your wallet.
  8. The problem for me is; after the X-Pro1 and X-E1, Fuji got AF-L wrong on all cameras. The button is too small and in the wrong place. For the record, I shoot with my left eye.
  9. The X-A2 was new, and the X-A10 is designed to use up remaining parts stock.
  10. Since we don't live close enough, I am afraid it's going to be for the honour :-)
  11. I bet they will not.
  12. On our latest city trips, I just took a 27mm and 18mm with me.
  13. I never understand this discussion really ... if you need IBIS, Fujifilm probably isn't the brand for you. I'd also like BMW to come out with a R800GS with shaft drive ... despite me being more than happy to live with the disadvantages, they're never going to make it.
  14. Since there unfortunately are different ISO standard interpretations (and you can argue which one is correct), ISO value settings do not simply translate from one brand to the other. If you use auto ISO on the Fuji, what does it choose, compared to the Nikon?
  15. My wife "stole" my 18mm so clearly that is her ideal travel lens. I am happy with the 27mm indeed.
  16. I usually have the X-Pro1 in manual focus. AF is not to be trusted with the OVF, while back button focus followed by the wheel press instantly bring you to the enlarged EV for precise focus.
  17. @asgy photography Why do you assume that people who don't perceive it as a problem are "obviously paid by Fujifilm"? If I was in that group (I am not; don't have a X-Pro2 or X-T2, and have no opinion on the issue) I would demand an apology from you. Unless you have proof for your statements, stay away from the ad hominem attacks.
  18. You mean the breakfast lounge for gold members? Not my favourite one by far, to be honest. If you mean another lounge, then I haven't been there yet.
  19. Yup. The man is a marketing genius.
  20. Well, they probably don't agree with you. I'm sure they are capable of building a camera with IBIS if they want.
  21. Why not A? Because the overexposure happens before the signal is digitised? Any ideas?
  22. Uhmm nope ... my most used clarinet is from 1972, and plays like a dream. My favourite sax is also from the seventies, and cost considerably less than a Fujifilm X-T2. Newer may be better, but is it better for you?
  23. Maybe, but for someone who could live with the X-E1 auto-focus, and is happy with the X-T1 ergonomics, the X-T2 is basically a waste of money.
