    I don't know the XQ2, but it sounds like you have the camera in AF-C mode.

    Use a camera with IBIS when you need it. Your clients won't care whether you use a Fujifilm, Sony, Olympus, or whatever. You would not be the only pro with more than one system.

    I do not miss the 5Dc. It was a great camera, but the X-E1 delivered the same for me in a smaller package. However, even the 5Dc focuses faster than the X-E1. It takes a X-E2 to get a similar AF-speed.

    Well, reading the other articles on that site, the authors seem to be on a "film is good, digital is bad" mission. Lost battle already, I guess. I must admit that I have not handled a roll of B&W film for the past two years. I think it's going to be a long time before my fridge is empty (if that will ever happen).

    I guess nobody really knows, but it would sound unlikely when the current converters would not be compatible.

    I do like the article indeed, but it's ironic (as you also point out) that a large part handles flash functions that can only be used with a flash that doesn't exist yet. I could imagine splitting the article in two parts?

    Thanks That's what I already mentioned above; both are in a poor place, so that's no solution. The buttons arrangement on the X-Pro1 and X-E1 is actually better than on the newer models, in this respect.

    Glad you got your answer! I'm just surprised that someone who makes a living from working in a camera shop is unable to explain about focus peaking on a mirrorless camera. Anyway ... what was your impression of the X-Pro2? Considering to buy it?

    If they told you the red outlining was overexposure, then I can hardly believe how ignorant that sales person was! This is so basic that they should have been able to explain it correctly to you.

    I damaged a Canon 20D by spilling a glass of cola over it ... the top buttons and dial did not like it. Granted, a half case would not have prevented that.
