  1. Thank you for these comments. Much appreciated. Like you say, it does not seem to be much of an upgrade. But i think it is something im going to do because i love the way they look and handle. hopefully it will push me to do better things
  2. Hi folks. So i'l try and keep this brief. I've been an active photographer for about 15 years. After getting my B.A. I shot for a living working for music labels etc. I have been out of the game for a couple of years now and I am finally thinking about picking up a camera again. I have always been a Canon shooter, primarily 5D Classics as it was all I ever needed along with 50 and 85mm lenses. Ever since the Fuji X series arrived I have been in love with the way they look as I was always a fan of the good old days running around with my Yashica GTX. I do not have the funds to buy the latest Fuji X models so I have been researching the xpro1 ( and also xe1 although the bigger sized body is more appealing to me ). I am not needing fast autofocus as I mainly do portraits and this seems to be the main thing that people see as a downside with these cameras. The thing I like about the 5D classic is the creamy and somewhat 3D effect that it produces and I am wondering if this is something i can achieve with the Fuji if I combine the correct lenses? The 5D because of its size always feels reassuring on shoots - does anyone have experience of doing portrait shoots with the XPro1? I would appreciate any opinions, good or bad. Thank you in advance. www.lucusj.com
