  1. Got a notice today from Fuji that my prime lens is on its way back via FedEx. No charge, so the warranty was honored. But ... is it fixed? I should know next week. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. I haven't a clue. Like the choking hazard warnings on bags and small toys? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone noticed an improvement with the "worms" in the new LR? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. I have multiple batteries for my XPro2. And the cheaper, non OEM, set gives me noticeably less ON time than the OEM. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  5. I just sent one of my three lenses to Fuji repair for that. I called the 800 number then had to wait 5-6 minutes till I talked to a repair rep. Probably SOP. Anyway he commented that that error meant that the focusing motor was not operating properly. I am just in the one year warranty period on all my Fuji so hopefully they'll fix it NC, we shall see. 6. How does a stepup ring on the front of a lens cause this? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. I would like to try this, what monitor ate you using? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  8. And yes that prime is headed back to Fuji. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. I am seeing that message when I mount my single prime on my XPro2 body. Could be this message is generic and is saying that the body is sensing a lens change but cannot establish communication with the lens (?) Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. I'm going to replace my Desktop. Not enough RAM (8 mb) anymore, figure I need 32. Noodling around I found CPU Solutions (I have no connection with them $ or otherwise) they market thru Amazon. Looks pretty good, anyone got/use one? How's the build? Robust components? Neat install? Reliable? Or? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. I received an ad for this lens today. Don't know which was more interesting, the lens or the English-as-second-language verbiage in the ad. It, the ad, uses "boke" for boka, and then says something about "Pinto" that I can't figure out at all. As to mirror lenses I've still got a Nikon 500 mm f8 that's interesting ... 12. Perhaps you could try an after market grip? That might re-position your hand enough to learn a better thumb placement. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. That the manual is misleading (no! [emoji2]) to set the Optical/Electronic/LCD Panel default I use the switch nearest the eyepiece sensor to EV/Sensor only. If I need to chimp I'll invoke the LCD with the buttons on the back along side the panel. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. I second your frustrations. And the Fuji manuals are such a help ... The way I work I don't chimp as often as others. Either I've selected the correct exposure or not, either way reviewing my just shot exposures doesn't help. As to getting to the LCD, EVF, OVF to work as I want them to, I've found that gh Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  15. I saw "uhs ii" (ultra high speed 2?) cards in Amazon this AM (August) at $97.nn a pop. I'd expect for 4K recording you'd want the fastest your budget can stand. How some ever $100.00 bucks for something the size of my thumb nail and easy to lose makes me pause. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  16. Did my update yesterday to 3.11. No issues so far. I'm impressed by the warnings that came with it - my battery was lowish, and then don't turn the camera off or take off the lens cap. That last is a new one. Usually warnings mean somebody was silly enough to do that! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  17. KateB do you really think that the Fujifilm's X-Pro2 (?) manual is easy to follow? I hate most manuals (full disclosure, I have my XPro 2's manual on every tablet I own[emoji10]) I've _never_ found one satisfactory. And I'm talking 50 years+ experience. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  18. Because of the narrower field of view. There are situations where I'd want to pick out a part of a landscape in front of me to photograph but seldom. Usually I'm looking to capture a larger perspective than a "normal" lens has not less. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. I looked at this as. Also have set of ETR lenses. But I can't decide if the lenses would actually be a good alternative to Fuji lenses. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. Fuji rumors mentioned the Lunch and Learn and says there will be one in Orlando Florida. Anybody got a schedule? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. I believe you can and that that has been mentioned here. Try a search? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  22. Am making trip to NE in September. Destinations include Newark NJ. While there I could get into NY and visit the FUJI store, I think. Am I right that there is one in NY? Anyone been there, what did you think? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  23. I updated the firmware for my XPro 2 and 3 lenses. Only problem I got is the prime is flakey. I need a solution for that. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  24. My computers, laptop and desktop, keep trying to display Fuji RAF as thumbnails. And that krawelllllls (!). I didn't have that occur with Nikon NEFs. Is there a way to lock down "Display as Details" for RAF files? TIA Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
