  1. A 2.8 lens should be huuuge :-)
  2. Same here. Fuji is really good at building lenses but their hoods and caps are just pain terrible. When I had Pentax, all the hoods just snapped on perfectly. Never had any problem. Not so with Fuji.
  3. Nice! This something I really want to see. Is it actually visible with the naked eye or is it like the Milky Way where most detail only shows in long exposure pictures?
  4. I am using Capture One. The results are definitely much better than what I got with Lightroom. I don't have time to test out other software though. It's not like you can use one and get good results immediately. It takes some time to learn.
  5. What do you want to bet :-) ?
  6. I have one of these and I find the SD card backup quite fast.
  7. I bet in 2 or 3 years they will have IBIS. There is (almost) always a way to implement something if you really want and I think there will be more and more market pressure. Or they will add OIS to most lenses. Not sure what the cost in weight and money is to add OIS though.
  8. The 12 is pretty small if that helps.
  9. Nice! These would have been difficult with the X-T1. Which setting did you find more useful? Zone or wide/tracking?
  10. Have you raised this to their tech support? They seem very responsive in general.
  11. Capture One definitely doesn't :-(
  12. The 22MB are compressed. Not all software handles them yet.
  13. The 22MB are compressed. Not all software handles them yet.
  14. I have that one too. If you get one, make sure to test it out thoroughly so you know its behavior. There are only two LEDs on it so you need to know what blinking or not blink means.
  15. Nice! I would have expected hockey to be one of the worst scenarios for AF. I have tried soccer with my X-T1 and that was just a mess. Looks like there is a real improvement.
  16. These are very good. How would you compare the X-T1 with the X-T2? I am pretty sure you could have got the same results with the X-T1 but the question is how much easier did the X-T2 make it?
  17. My theory is that smaller is generally better and more precise but you need contrast within the focusing area. So something you have to go bigger so the camera can find something to focus on.
  18. I used to baby my equipment but now I don't care anymore and use it.
  19. Nice! Did you shoot this with the grip? How is AF without?
  20. I remember seeing a video where they showed a setting that focus can be totally decoupled from the shutter button with the X-T2. Let's hope that's true.
  21. I doubt those cameras will ever get a grip, maybe the X-T10 but certainly not the XE-2.
  22. I have a Neewer battery grip for X-T1. Cost $50. I suppose the X-T2 grip is a little more complex but there is hope.
  23. I assume it's Great Britain. there are no discounts in the US. Yet....
  24. In general I don't like battery grips so I haven't ordered it. But I am still not sure how necessary the grip is for the improvements in AF for action pictures.
