  1. Good one. With my Pentax K-3 it was really easy to focus on a star with live view. With the X-T1 it's really hard due to noise. I would like the ability to zoom in more in live view and be able to move the viewpoint around.
  2. It looks like there is a Mac version: http://www.acdsee.com/en/products/acdsee-pro-3-mac Does anybody know how it compares to Lightroom?
  3. Generally not but there are situations where you don't have the time. Or you switch in a rush and end up in BKT instead of CH
  4. I don't think changing the timing will require a hardware change so it should be possible to fix it in the firmware. I didn't say it's likely they will do so.
  5. I posted about this a few months ago when I just had got my X-T1. No help there either. It must have to do with the timing of the button. They could probably fix it with a firmware update.
  6. What are you using now? The Adobe Cloud subscription is pretty compelling. For $10 a month you get LR and Photoshop which covers most needs (HR, Panorama).
  7. Tend to agree. LR6 together with the presets is much better but it's still worse than Iridient. I have decided that it''s good enough for me at the moment. But for a pro this is probably unacceptable.
  8. It's also incredibly fast!
  9. I use CrashPlan which costs $5 per month but it has been very reliable for me.
  10. That's probably the OIS. The 50-140 is even louder. Even if you turn OIS off the sounds is still there.
  11. I have noticed that all his Fuji reviews follow the same pattern. Compare these: http://www.kenrockwell.com/fuji/x-mount-lenses/10-24mm.htm#rex http://www.kenrockwell.com/fuji/x-mount-lenses/56mm-f12.htm#rex http://www.kenrockwell.com/fuji/x-mount-lenses/50-140mm.htm#rex http://www.kenrockwell.com/fuji/x-mount-lenses/18-135mm.htm#rex He seems to do a lot of copying
  12. Wow. Keep them coming. They are a real inspiration. Maybe one day you can post a tutorial of do's and don'ts for street photography....
  13. My Wasabis work well. But I have accepted that the X-T1 is a battery guzzler.
  14. I love all your pictures. How do you create them? Are they planned out or just random shots?
  15. Just put an order in for the first one. Gotta love the name. First I thought "Wow. Kingston is building device so cheap.". Then I realized it's "Kinston".
  16. Isn't the USB typically 5V? So it can even work with that. The "squid" you are using. Does it give a cigarette lighter plug output or an output that goes straight to the charger? I can't find anything.
  17. It wouldn't make sense indeed. But you never know...
  18. Cool. I guess the Wasabi charger doesn't really need 12V to function. I'll try my own USB battery and see if it works.
  19. I wonder if there is a limit on the number of images. If you delete some images can you review again?
  20. TriggerTrap looks good but it's not wireless. Wish they'd implement that. Not all intervalometers for Canon will work on Fuji. I have several remotes/timers that don't work on the Fuji but work on Canon. I would definitely go for one that are labelled as for Fuji. I use this on my X-T! and it works really well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TDYU1U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
  21. May I ask what panel and power bank you have? I have a Goal Zero which has a 12V output which then can power the Wasabi charger. It takes a whole day to barely charge a camera battery. (in LA so there is enough sun). How do you connect your Wasabi charger to the power bank? My charger has either 110V or 12V input.
  22. When you look at the distance scale in the viewfinder you can see that the camera knows exactly what DOF it has for each aperture and focal length. I think ti would be easy to pick a hyper-focal distance. The necessary data is already there.
  23. I have been thinking about this too. It would be a nice innovative feature and probably not hard to implement. Or at minimum always show the distance scale.
