  1. The 18-135 is a cracking lens, should suit your wife very well not the lightest, but not bad!
  2. Park cameras are showing one in their used list!
  3. That's a plan Ben!
  4. I think you will find that Peak Design call them "anchors".
  5. Ben, what you hear I reckon is the af when it is not powered, mine makes a soft noise. Stop worrying and take some pictures that you show us!
  6. I remember from my childhood a device called the "Seebakroscope" a little mirror attached to spectacles to allow one to see behind!
  7. I get the same as Jorge!

Milandro, that might well be vibration of the escalator, I might well have been leaning on the handrail, I can't really remember. Plus he was moving his head about! Shutter speed was 1/100 @ f5.6.
  10. Johan's, I was surprised at the GFX weight or lack of, in the hand the GFX feels only slightly larger than an X-T2 and the feel is also very similar to an X-T2. The small LCD panel seems superfluous to me, but I may be missing something! Something else I noticed was that the SS &a ISO dials are dished! I was quite impressed but not by the cost!

Saw this chap on the London Underground on Saturday and yes it is a bloke!
  12. Went to the WEX London Lens show on Saturday and on the Fuji stand were these!
  13. Adam, I don't own any of the X-Pro cameras and so only dipped in and out of your epic! Very well done you deserve a VG Tick for all that effort!
  14. Karin, why don't you use the joystick to leaf through your images, that is assuming that you are talking about an X-T2?
  15. Use the mechanical shutter, to get the extended Lo & Hi ISO values, page 152 of the manual!
  16. Edward, I believe it is on page 152! My apologies Edward I only have access to an X-T2 manual. When the electronic shutter is used, the flash is disabled, shutter speed and sensitivity are restricted to values of 1⁄32000–30 s and ISO 12800–200 respectively, and long ex- posure noise reduction has no effect.
  17. Daniela, the best way to download your images is via a USB card reader! Lexar UHS 11 cards include free a fast SD card reader. Both Sandisk and Lexar give free access to card rescue software, or google image rescue to get more options! Fuji do not include a lead suitable to conncect to a computer, again a suitable cable is cheaply available on Amazon! Mine was originally for a Blackberry phone and works well! But I reckon downloading via a card reader is the best bet! Also I would not recommend buying cheap SD cards, you get what you pay for, don't forget buy cheap - buy twice! You can download a manual from Fujifilm.co.uk
  18. Mechanical shutter only to get at changing the H & L settings!
  19. I can imagine the frustration, have you tried a reset?
  20. Bob, I use an X-T2, so it maybe a little different. I tried out connecting my camera directly to my iMac and in Lr CC the X-T2 shows up as a device, and the photos show up, plus I can download them to Lr plus the computer! Check in Lr that it treats Jpegs and RAF files separately, try selecting show both in Lr and see if that makes a difference! If memory serves me well there used to be two settings for the USB! PTP and some thing else(can't remember what it was called), I seem to recall that was changed later! Check the X-T1 menu system! My camera shows in Lr as X-T2. PS "Mass Storage" as the other USB setting springs to mind!
  21. The next X-T model must have a higher resolution EVF which should encompass an eye relief of 30 mm. Another must is to swap the position of the focus lever and the Q button. Naturally everything should be faster!
  22. I'll echo that please please please get rid of it
