  1. Don't forget the U.K. Price includes VAT of I believe 20%! I suspect the USA price doesn't include their taxes!
  2. Apparently according to Albert, said it maybe that at switch on the camera interrogates the cards and if the lexar cards are not as compatible as suggested!
  3. Batteries are not the problem, I have an inkling that it may be an SD card problem as my problem of freezing returned after, so I contacted Fuji Support UK and spoke to Albert who suggested that the problem might be connected to the fast Lexar 2000X cards, so he said change the cards and reset the camera and format the cards in camera. He said try that for several days and log any freezes that happen and get back to them should the freezing return. After six days of trying to trigger a freeze nada, time will tell! Fingers crossed!!!
  4. Yesterday I mowed what I euphemistically call my lawn, this morning the grass seemed very popular with the local starlings. 88 in view + a few others out of view so around a 100 of em searching for something edible! X-T2 + 23mm 1.4 @ 1/100 f 5.6 ISO 640 and a heavy crop.
  5. Kate, Lightroom gets a lot of knocking, but I reckon it's quite good and as you say intuitive, so think you won't go far wrong with Lightroom!
  6. Maybe a white balance problem, should be able to change this in one of the menus!
  7. The collection so far!
  8. Another mini for my series of mini front ends! And yep it's brown! X-T2 + 23mm 1.4 @ 1/100 f6.3 ISO 400
  9. Kate, it is a good idea to download the manual NOW to your tablet! Also there are quite a few brochures on the Fujifilm website which should be useful as well. I have to say though having the camera in your hands is hard to beat!
  10. Yes that is what happens!
  11. Firmware 1.10 sounds a bit like a lens Firmware number! time to check again TC400CN.
  12. iMac every time, that's a no brainer!
  13. !6mm 1.4, 23mm 1.4, 56mm 1.2 + the 90mm 2.0? I can't count
  14. Merlin you are right I too thought that the new firmware 2.11 was odd soI also checked thr Fuji website and yep they are quoting 2.10, I wonder if this is a fore runner of the next FW update? Time will tell! When I unwrapped it it appeared as if new! Also a free battery was a bonus, I presume somebody forgot to remove it.
  15. This is what the enclosed doc said! According to the document enclosed the Main PWB was replaced as was the top plate. Also the camera firmware was updated to 2.11, so just maybe part of the problem was firmware related? So we're talking about a virtually complete strip down and of course a rebuild!
  16. My repair with Fuji UK took 13 days door to doorL
  17. Good news, today my repaired X-T2 returned to my sweaty little hands. According to the document enclosed the Main PWB was replaced as was the top plate. Also the camera firmware was updated to 2.11, so just maybe part of the problem was firmware related? All this cost me not a penny due to the camera being just in the warranty period which runs out in September, well done Fuji. It now looks like a new camera as the top plate replacement also meant that the dials which had a dodgy numeral paint have obviously replaced when the top plate was changed. It's nice to have it back, and as a bonus it came with a 126 battery installed which I had no sent back with it. I can stop biting my fingernails now.
  18. Merlin, I think this delicate photo justifies your purchase of the X-T2. Especially when partnered with the excellent Fuji glass that you have!
  19. Julie, you might also consider the Fujinon 10-24 f4 a cracker!
  20. Well Jorge, you have come to the right place for councelling.
  21. Love the punk hair do.
  22. Merlin, very nice the colours really pop, good innit. Are those flowers/plants in your garden?
  23. More pink flowers! X-T2 + 56mm 1.2 @ 1/550 f5.6 ISO 200
  24. Another Fuji flower from Speyer, Germany.
  25. Seems very expensive to me!
