  1. This is me on a good day!
  2. Impressions so far are good, hefty beast but so far I like the handling it doesn't feel that heavy, the focusing ring is firm to move but smooth. The Aperture ring feel is a bit on the soft side but ok, I would prefer a more positive click, but hey. Focusing is fairly fast, not lightning fast but quite quick! Personally I prefer the handling to that of the 90mm. The lens works with the TC 1.4 but not the TC 2 unless I’m doing something wrong. I look forward to learning how to use this lens properly. A couple of photos to follow soonish.
  3. Just had an email from WEX that my new Fujinon 80mm Macro is to be delivered tomorrow, yippee. Hopefully it will be as good as predicted, I’m sure it will
  4. Jorge, you can stop taking the Valium now!
  5. Check the exposure slider on the computer, PC or Mac? Look at the brightness bottom left object, part of a roof maybe Will the file download?

    Rachel

    My daughter Rachel, it’s her birthday on Wednesday! X-T2 + 23mm 1.4.
  7. Post a picture of what you see on the computer!
  8. Always do it in camera!
  9. Sounds normal to me! It is never a good idea to attribute a Fuji X-T2 with facilities found on other makes, they ain’t the same.
  10. Saw this and took a quick exit stage left! X-T2 + 23mm 1.4. @ 1/250 f 5.6 ISO.
  11. Kate, I have just received one of those and I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed!
  12. And mine! Bloody annoying waiting though!
  13. Can we have a way to lose these unwanted and very annoying Google adverts, please?
  14. Fujifilm has an annoying (not) habit of bringing out fairly regular updates to its products, so an X-T2 with the latest updates is really a new camera compared to the first versions! Never been to NY but I suspect the photo opportunities are virtually endless!
  15. All I can say Roy is have no fears, I find the high ISO quality is very good!
  16. North east of where I’m wondering?
  17. Edmond, you will not go wrong with an X-T2 and the 18-55 kit lens which the duo seems to be always on offer! Where are you from,? it always helps to know this! You will grow into the X-T2 and should last you for a long time! Don't forget to get a spare battery. Last but not least enjoy.
  18. The micro fibre cloths have a multitude of uses, bought cheaply from Amazon. They also make very good washing up dishcloths.
  19. Mr T, I realise the 23mm hood won't fit the 50mm f2, I was really saying that the 23mm JJC hood was bayonet fitting and not a screw in hood!
  20. Mr T, I have a JJC square metal lens hood for the 23mm 1.4 and it does bayonet on, the feel and quality are very similar to the Fuji offering but half the price, it also fits the 56mm 1.2 as well!
  21. Does it for me Hendrick.
  22. Sorry Him, I looked on Amazon and couldn't find one apologies for wasting your time!
  23. Try a look at JJC hoods on Amazon
  24. I use a micro fibre cloth and a lens brush!
