  1. Andrea, the 10-24 is also one of my fave lenses, your photo is super lots a sky! I’m going through a prime phase this year this was taken on the Rhine this summer with the 23mm1.4 @ 1/210 f11 ISO. Castle Faltz
  2. Welcome MM, there are shed loads of ex Nikon shooters around the Fuji world, me included for two years now, the feeling of losing all that weight is really liberating. If you have a technical query, people will fall over themselves to help out! I’ll ask the inevitable question can we see some photos?
  3. You may wish to consider the FX 55-200 to give a little more reach to your arsenal! A modest but very good lens!
  4. Good morning Bob, from over the border in Middlesex, near to Heathrow. I have had an almost identical journey from Nikon to Fuji. Spent way too much money of course over the last two years!
  5. Personally I would go for the 10-24 any day of the week!
  6. The latest addition to my collection. Taken with an iPhone X
  7. The Samyang is not autofocus! The Zeiss if I understand you does have full control, have a look at the reviews in the Fuji X Lenses, lens topics on this forum!
  8. Kate, that would be the “10-24mm” which is a very good lens, albeit f4.0! The Zeiss 12mm f2.8 is a AF prime!
  9. No you will only see a jpeg on the camera, you will NOT see any raw files on the camera screen. It doesn’t matter which card the raw files are saved to!
  10. I have just bought the Hadley Digital for exactly that purpose, and looking at the photo of this new bag I reckon you would struggle!
  11. Why don’t you use the Hadley Digital then?
  12. I’m not suggesting it does, but also I’m not really surprised that wide open there is softness in the corners. I’m sure that a review criticised this lens for being soft in the corners wide open.
  13. My lens used was a 23mm 1.4, and hand held.
  14. Not enough info here as I do not see this effect when using Lightroom! 1/23000 f1.4 ISO 200
  15. Yep normal I’m afraid, also there is a gentle buzz from the lens as well, very similar to the 50-140mm!
  16. Milandro, I already knew that, but it’s nice to be reminded every now and then.
  17. Milandro your link is to the new features guide only and not the full manual, when trying to save the web based full manual as a PDF only results in the 12 index pages only and not the full manual! which is what I'm after, web access is not always available so a stand alone PDF is important! Maybe I'm being too impatient and it will come in time, a shame as Fuji is normally very good at supporting it's products.
  18. Yes it does but there is a full version 3 of the manual, but it seems to be only web based at the moment. I have tried to download a pdf that I can utilise in iBooks, but no go, all I get is the index to the new version of the manual, really annoying. Note the front cover of the web based manual!
  19. It might be that you are approaching the minimum aperture to have AF work, just a thought!
  20. So far I have been unable to download a pdf version of the new manual, but only as a web page which I have bookmarked in Safari! Every time I try to save this pdf I only end up as a 4 page menus only pdf!
  21. Jose, correct me if I’m wrong is Jaipur the pink city?
  22. Milandro, thanks it is a heavy crop which has accentuated the grain, something I didn’t take into account. The ISO of 1600 was to up the shutter speed. An example of too much haste spoils the broth so to speak, I must learn to slow down and be less gung ho, a good object lesson.
