I’m not paying for it - my version of the app seems to be free Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes - I’ve had some of my favourites not get past the ‘fresh’ stage, but others I’d thought less of get through to ‘popular’. Saying that, I’m getting better at telling which ones are worth submitting and which aren’t. What I’ve learned: - my personal interests and hobbies aren’t in themselves interesting to other people. - what people like seems to be a strong, clear subject, a story, and some emotion depicted or implied Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I just signed up for 500px this past week. You get very quick feedback on your photos from photographers all over the world. You know within minutes whether a picture you post has what it takes to grab people’s attention. Anyone else here on it? https://500px.com/warwickcairns Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d probably stick with mk1 then! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How about the new Laowa 9mm? It’s small, it’s light, it’s ultra wide and it’s optically corrected. People like Jonas Rask are raving about it. It’s also very different from the focal lengths you currently have. https://jonasraskphotography.com/2018/03/20/going-extrawide-the-laowa-9mm-f-2-8-review/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A bag for x100t and 13 inch laptop

X100t is small. Just get a bag for your laptop and slip your x100t in it, or in your pocket! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I may get one of these. I’d see it as replacing my Samyang fisheye for close-up action sports photography, without having to worry about weird distortion Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d gradually update all the lenses to WR and the latest focussing if I were Fuji. That said, I probably wouldn’t buy a new 23mm f1.4. I used to have the current one but I sold it when the 23mm f2 came out. The size, weight and focussing speed of the f2 make it a joy to use. You can slip it on your camera and forget about it, and you don’t look conspicuous or put people on their guard if you use it at social events or on the street. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Two principles in this one: a triangle made by the three faces, and within the faces you have a sort of ‘odd one out’ thing going on: two human faces, with glasses, in profile, both looking at (and leading the viewer’s eye towards) a dog face, which is looking directly at the camera.
