  1. You're talking about ice hockey, I guess? With hockey, the light normally wouldn't be a problem, I'd say. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  2. The small size definitely is an advantage of mirrorless cameras for me. Which is why I also do not desire large lenses. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  3. Would the X-T2 solve that, since the X-Pro2 more or less seems designed with prime users in mind? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. True, but unless you always want to shoot wide open, even 1600 ISO is a bit limiting. Especially indoors. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. The Pentacon 4/200 is a lovely lens on the Fujifilm X-E1 ... with a tripod, of course.

Your use of the light, and your compositions, are a joy to see. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  7. If that would give me the quality I want, that would be great. But it doesn't, so when I take something more than a smartphone, I usually limit myself to a X-Pro1 with one lens, and two spare batteries. I do use my smartphone quite a lot though. The best camera is the one you have with you. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. Simple answer for me; as little as possible. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. I have a X-Pro1, but I use the OVF 80% of the time, I guess. The optical VF is the whole point of the X-Pro line, I think. I also use the X-Pro1 with suitable primes only. If you want to use zooms, or primes that don't work with the OVF, you ought to be using an X-E or X-T anyway, in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks ... I wanted to show the strong backlight, and make the boat and windmill a bit "silhouette-like". Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  13. There's a whole multi-page discussion on this topic on the "other" forum. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. Joost, I personally love the Cambridge in Colour tutorials. Here's one on the use of histograms: http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/histograms1.htm Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. What's your question? Reading the histogram, or getting it displayed? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. My question was already answered earlier in the thread.

  18. I don't think the X-Pro1 was superior to the X-E2. It's different, due to the OVF, and the omission of a built-in flash. However, if you don't care about the optical viewfinder, the X-E2 would be a great camera. The price has come down to a reasonable level as well. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. I think that I look at it differently; I'd rather buy a camera, and not a promise of future firmware updates. My X-E1 also doesn't get firmware updates. That's fine with me; I like the camera as it is. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  20. Does that really work? Without introducing a lot of vignetting? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  21. Really? Would that make a real difference? I think that a separate shutter speed and aperture dial (plus an A setting on both) is far more intuitive? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  22. Ah yes, I probably should have added that I use a X-Pro1 body most of the time. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
