  1. Leidsche Rijn at night ... amazing how much detail ISO6400 still gives you!
  2. One of my favourite places in Amsterdam is "het Begijnhof" (unfortunately usually crowded). The 16-55 will serve you well in Amsterdam ... in general, I think a wide angle is more usable (for me) in a city than a tele. The book market at "het Spui" (every Friday) is worth visiting too, Have fun!
  3. I would have gone for a X-E2, as a stopgap then, in your case. While waiting for the X-T2 to come out. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Me neither. I personally don't care for long lenses. But it would allow Fujifilm to get a larger share of the market, which is good for the long term perspectives for the X-series system. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. Was there no option to wait a few months? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Depends on your needs, of course. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  7. Welcome, and have fun! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. Sometimes I feel all those categories are there so that every manufacturer can get a few. Of course they're great for marketing, but I question their value and meaning. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, and that also makes sense. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. Why? If you don't like the OVF, there are enough EVF only cameras to choose from. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. None of the Canon EF mount lenses have an aperture ring. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. If you don't want the OVF or the rangefinder style, I would wait. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. That was already the case with the X-Pro1 yes. Frame, focus, reframe. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. Well ... a bit more than pennies Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. Press and hold the MENU/OK button down until it unlocks. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. I have somewhat reduced vision in my right eye as well (doesn't stop me from riding a motorcycle though), so I am naturally left eye dominant. Never bothered me with rangefinder styled cameras. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  17. I would say it's unheard of, unless consumer protection laws are very different in the USA. Fuji in Germany pay for the shipping when the lens is still under warranty (2 years). As it should be, in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  18. Really? Personally I would not recommend full auto. I would start to get used to concepts like aperture, shutter time, and (auto) ISO from the beginning. Also display the histogram, so that you learn how to read it. I would stay with JPEGs for now, and I would set DR to auto. Have fun! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. It would be fine when the X-T2 has 4K videos if 1) it does not make the camera more expensive, 2) it does not make the camera bulkier, and 3) it does not lead to reduced ergonomics for photo taking. Otherwise; leave the whatever video out, and focus on creating a high quality photo camera. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  20. Well, I am not those people, and I am a Fuji customer ... as long as Fuji creates great photo cameras, I'm happy. If you feel that's ignorant, so be it. I think there are enough brands that create cameras for the video enthusiasts, so it's not like they have no choice. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  21. I think the AF update is strictly the focus limiting feature for the 100-400. Feature wise, nothing new is coming anymore for the X-Pro1. But I knew that when I bought it. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  22. I have a good experience with Hähnel batteries. For Canon, my preferred brand was Duracell, but they seem not to have batteries for the Fuji X-series yet. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  23. I don't even know what 4K does, and I love my Fuji cameras. If I would want to shoot video, I would buy a video camera. I guess I am not alone in not desiring video, or other (to me) gimmicks, in my camera. As long as Fuji builds great photo cameras, I am happy with them. But I probably would not buy a X-T camera anyway; I would miss the OVF. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
