  1. I am currently shooting with the XT-4, and XH-1. I am considering purchasing the GFX100s, the dynamic range is amazing with this camera. The XH-2 is rumored to be 40mp and will arrive sometime in 2022. I am trying to decide the best move to make in a purchase. I originally made the move from Nikon full frame cameras D3s for the size and weight of the Fuji gear. I have read the weight and size is just a little more with the GFX bodies, of course the glass will be more weight. My favorite lens is a 24-70, which the GFX does not have in its line. Any thoughts or experiences with the GFX cameras that you would be willing to share. Thanks, Wayne
  2. HI, has anyone found an "L" bracket for the XT-4 that will allow the articulating screen to functiion. It seems that a number of brands prevent the screen from rotating. Thanks. Wayne
  3. I just got the X-H1, it will pair very nicely with my XT-2. I am excited about the in-body IBS system and gaining 6 stops of light.
  4. Hi, I am new to Fuji, my XT-2 will arrive on 9/12, I having been shooting with Nikon for a very long time so I am looking for some suggestions on the best resources to help me setup my new camera. I am looking for information to help get me up to speed with shooting with this new system. I am excited to become a Fuji user and look for to making amazing images. Thanks for the help.
  5. Hi Folks, Does anyone have any recommendations for an adapter to use with my Nikon glass? There seems to be a number of brands, but I am not sure why the range for adapters goes from around $30.00 to $495.00. I am not familiar with the differences to make an intelligent buying decision.
  6. Each battery weighs 23g, so I am estimating the total weight to be about 275g. The body weight is 453.59g.
  7. According to Fuji the coldest temp's that their weather sealed lens and work in is 14 degree's F, I am assuming the same could be said for the XT-1. I live in an environment that experiences a lot colder weather, plus I travel to areas that have minus degree weather. Has anyone used their gear in extreme cold and hot areas without problems. I am looking to purchase Fuji gear, I am a nature photographer so I am out in a lot of different types of weather. I am currently shooting with FF Nikon gear, I have never experienced any failures in extreme hot or cold. Thanks
  8. I am currently shooting with a D810 with my most used lens 16-35 1.4, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, all great glass. I would like a smaller lighter kit for travel and longer hikes. Does anyone have any suggestions on Fuji glass that would be equal in quality, obviously the end result of the image is the photographer and skill. Thanks.
  9. There are great prices on Fuji glass right now so I want to take advantage of the savings. I am putting the cart before the horse since I don't own a Fuji camera yet, I am waiting for the XT-2 to come to market. I am considering the 10-24 or 14mm prime. I continue to read that the 50-140 has a lot of noise coming from the lens which could be very distracting when shooting with it. I like the range plus I would get either the 1.4 or 2.0 teleconverter. Usually the 16-55 has a very good price when bundled with the camera body. My favorite ranges are 24-70, 70-200 and super wide lens. I am shooting with Nikon FF cameras and fast glass. I am purchasing the Fuji because of the size and weight, hiking with 20-30 lbs is really getting old. I want the best glass so I am looking for suggestions, the rebates are on through the month of June. Thanks for the help. Wayne
  10. Hi, I tried out a Fuji Xpro-2 and a meta-bones adapter and a few of my Nikon lens. I found the images to have a lot of noise compared to Fuji lens. This was the first time that I had used a Fuji camera, so there maybe operator error. I used a 16-35, and 28-300 Nikon lens on the camera. I loved the Fuji glass, but not the Nikon glass. Yet on my D810 the results are awesome. I want a smaller, lighter kit for hiking and travel, so I wanted to experience the Fuji glass and camera. I am waiting for the XT-2 which suits my style of shooting, nature/landscape and travel. Has anyone else experienced a lot of noise using lens from other camera manufacturers? Or did it do something wrong, I did use focus peaking for sharpness and to get the right focus. Thanks for the help. Wayne
  11. Which would be the better choice, the new X-Pro2 or wait for the XT-2 to come out. I shoot mainly landscape, nature and travel photography. Currently shooting with a Nikon D810, but want a lighter, smaller kit. This would be my first mirroless camera, I have never shot with a Fuji, but I keep hearing how great then lens are, which is very important to me, plus the dynamic range of the camera.
  12. I looking for a mirroless camera and for nature, landscape and travel. I current shooting with a Nikon D810, but would like a lighter, smaller kit. Would the new X-Pro2 be the right camera, or should I wait till the XT-2 becomes available? Thanks for your thoughts on this subject.
