  1. Select a different drive setting such as Still Image or Continuous. The HDR options are only going to be in effect if you choose HDR.
  2. See if Natural Live View in the Screen Settings menu does what you need
  3. When it says "Settings OK" CANCEL is highlighted - do you move the highlight to "OK" before you press the "Menu OK" button?
  4. There is a problem with MacOS (and probably some versions of Linux) where the computer won't read over 4096 files from an SD Card formatted as exFAT (from a Fujifilm camera). IS the card over 32GB (i.e. formatted as exFAT)? Do you have over 4096 files (raw + jpeg counts as two files)? If you have access to a Mac try opening the card in Finder and click on one of the JPEGs to bring up Preview. Now check and see if you have access to all the files.
  5. Most likely the camera is in full auto mode (using the dial on top right of the camera) - you need to be in PASM or one of the custom settings in order to use ES
  6. Olaf is probably right but its really worth getting some new cards - they will be much, much faster and likely more reliable. I tried using Google to find those Qumox cards and couldn't find that exact model so its doubtful they have been made for some time.
  7. Do you have the PC Connection Mode set to USB Card Reader - it should be under the Setup Menu => Connection Setting? If you use finder on the Mac do you see the camera as an icon and is it accessible? The other alternative is to get a card reader
  8. I must admit that I was excited at the possibilities of using the settings but now rarely use them - partly because I can't remember everything I had set up. Should probably be methodical and create groups of settings that are commonly used and label them appropriately - its good that you can set everything up using your computer.
  9. Well spotted - I hadn't noticed those half circles
  10. Shouldn't think so - the focus ring isn't mechanically connected to the lens focus mechanism - it communicates electrically with the camera which in turn controls the focus.
  11. The camera expects a specific directory structure in order to playback (or raw process) the images. The easiest way to achieve this is as follows: - take a picture and take the card out of the camera - put the SD card back in your computer: all the files you copied are likely in the root directory - but you'll see something like the following for the picture you just took: DCIM/101_XXXX/DSCF1234.RAF copy all the raw images into the 101_XXXX directory (or whatever its called) i.e. where you see the single image file Put the card back in the camera Now the camera will see the images. There are limits on the number of images but try this first. ================================================== The other way of doing this is to install the FujiFilm X Raw Studio software on your computer - then you will be able to reprocess your raw files using your computer without copying them to the camera (but using the camera as the raw processor). This has the additional advantage of letting you use the computer keyboard and screen during the process.
  12. Do Vitrox claim that IBIS works with their adapter? IBIS does work with the Fringer adapter for supported lenses (except long telephotos)
  13. Could you either provide a link to an original image (straight out of camera with metadata intact) or take a photo of the top of the camera and rear screen with camera turned on. We might get some ideas from your settings. You could try going into the setup menu and run a reset in case you have accidentally changed some setting.
  14. Is this Lightroom Classic? Under Preferences/Presets there is a global setting which you probably have set to "Camera Settings" Change this to whatever you want to see - Adobe Default will show a basic colour image
  15. I wear glasses and use both the X-T3 and X-S10 without problems
  16. The X-S10 has the greatest flexibility in saving custom settings - its a bit bigger and heavier but much more capable than the X-T200 https://camerasize.com/compact/#864.359,845.359,ha,t Otherwise the X-T30 and X-E4 are small and have the capability of saving multiple sets of image quality settings https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-e4/menu_shooting/image_quality_setting/#edit-save_custom_setting
  17. Depends what other settings you have - for example you won't get the Film Simulation option when you are using F-Log
  18. I have tried taking multiple video clips - on a tripod, same subject and identical lighting - both with and without natural live view and I don't notice any difference
  19. As I mentioned in your other post I don't think the natural live view setting actually limits the video minimum ISO - but it does limit what is shown in the live view on the screen when you half press the shutter button. This is different from using F-log or DR400 where the minimum ISO is actually limited in the video clip.
  20. It depends on the camera and the firmware level. Most Fuji X series cameras have had the ability to rate images in Playback mode but before firmware version 4.00 in the X-T3 the rating was stored in a Fujifilm specific area of the metadata and not visible to tools such as Lightroom. That has changed and now the most recent cameras (and X-T3 post firmware 4.00) store the rating as XML which is much more widely accessible by viewing and editing programs. When in Playback mode there is a shortcut to the rating screen by pressing AE-L. Its not exactly a custom button to set a specific star rating but its close.
  21. It can be set to a function button
  22. I don't understand - is this the number of minutes showing at the top of the screen before you start a video? This implies a card problem. If not could you explain exactly what you are doing and what you are seeing.
  23. what happens after 3/4 minutes? does it just stop? do you get any messages? does it get hot?
  24. If anyone is following this thread and have the problem that only the first 4096 files are visible on a Mac (or possibly some varieties of Linux) - there appears to be a Fujifilm firmware bug. A workaround (until Fujifilm fixes the problem) is to open the card in Finder and click on one of the jpg files so that it appears in Preview - that should fix the directory and the remaining files should be visible.
