  1. No you can't - its going to give preference to faces in the centre of the screen or you can touch the screen to select a face - but detection is throughout the screen
  2. Not available - you either use the shutter button or some sort of remote
  3. This shouldn't happen - what do you see if you look at the files on the card without transferring them? How large are they? Try reformatting the card in the camera and create another video (over 4GB) - then look at the file on the card without transferring it - is there a single file and how large is it?
  4. Two options if you want to stay with Lightroom : - upgrade to the subscription version - convert RAF to DNG before importing into your existing version
  5. Shutter Speed and Sensitivity dials can be locked by pressing the button in the middle of the dial: http://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t4/about_this_camera/parts/index.html#shutter_speed Many functions can be locked within the menu: http://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t4/menu_setup/button-dial_setting/index.html#lock
  6. It defaults to the most recent Film Simulation you selected - either using custom settings, function button or via the menu. The current film simulation will be shown either using the Image Quality Settings menu or in the viewfinder of rear screen (assuming you haven't turned off that particular display setting).
  7. Not enough information here. I assume you have downloaded to a computer? What type of computer and which operating system? How did you download the files and how are you viewing them? Which application are you using? How do you know you are getting 1920x1080 resolution? Are you viewing the raw file or the jpg? If this is the jpg what jpg settings did you use in the camera?
  8. Sounds like you have activated Bracketing. See the manual here for the Drive/Delete Menu http://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x100v/about_this_camera/parts/index.html#drive_button
  9. I don't understand your argument. Surely all this says is that you cannot have IBIS only if you have a OIS lens. It doesn't say that IBIS has no effect with an OIS lens and OIS turned on.
  10. Example? Maybe provide a link to an original file straight out of the camera.
  11. Adobe already supports X-T4 raw files. https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html (But to answer the question - there is a new type of lossy compressed raw for the X-T4 in addition to the lossless compressed available with the X-T3)
  12. I have used the ProGrade card on my X-T3 and been happy with the results. The only curious problem I had was in mixing SanDisk and Prograde UHS-II cards in different slots. So based on that experience I'd get two copies of the same card. (Even for the X-T3 the specific card recommendations from Fuji were outdated)
  13. I've found setting it to AF-ON to be the perfect solution - the button is just the right location when you want to activate AF manually and I've never come across a situation where activating it accidentally caused a problem.
  14. Do you mean the FujiFilm leather case: https://shop.fujifilm.co.uk/fujifilm-x-t10-t20-t30-leather-half-case It is being sold as suitable for X-T10 and X-T30
  15. Haven't seen any rumours and it definitely isn't on the list of changes published by Fuji. Its not on the X-T3 either.
  16. Presumably the camera works OK with other lenses? (Which implies the lens is the problem). What are the pictures like? Does the lens communicate with the camera (focus, aperture, metering and EXIF)? Do the contacts look OK?
  17. How are you measuring the bitrate? If a video clip which takes 5 seconds to shoot at 200Mbps is played back at 4x slow motion (i.e. 20 seconds) then the average bitrate over 20 seconds will be 50Mbps.
  18. Exiftool is almost always the answer for metadata and I use it daily - but if it doesn't meet your needs for video I'd take a look at Mediainfo which sometimes does a better job of actually analysing the video streams - its also multiplatform (even iOS!!)
  19. Does the flash have an AF Illuminator - have you looked in the flash menu under LED Light Setting? (I think Silent Mode was dropped from recent Fuji X cameras)
  20. Why do you want to remove the warning? It might help those who wonder why they can't choose a slower shutter speed than framerate and haven't read the manual.
  21. You'll get a lot of different opinions as to the "best" option unfortunately. Its going to be a balance between how much you want to pay, how much you are willing to learn new software and whether each option provides the functions you want. There are some who have had trouble with processing Fuji X files with Lightroom - if that is a concern you might try the Adobe DNG raw converter route for a while and see if you like the results.
  22. How about upgrading the Adobe software?
  23. I assume you mean AF Mode not Focus Mode? There is a difference between the Quick Menu and Custom Settings. The Custom Settings (C1 etc) are a set of Image Quality settings that you can change as a set. These settings include ISO and Film Simulation but not AF Mode. The Quick Menu is an easy way of accessing a whole bunch of settings (that may include Custom Settings but others as well - such as AF Mode). The AF Mode is changed independently of Custom Settings. That is why you can change the AF Mode in the Quick Menu but changing the Custom Setting has no affect on AF Mode.
  24. I'm assuming you mean auto focus mode not auto exposure mode as you mention blur? I'd agree with George about using zone rather than spot with continuous focus as it can be tricky keeping the spot on an erratically moving subject. At that point its worth experimenting with the custom auto focus settings depending on exactly what the subject is, how it is moving and how likely there are to be obstacles between you and the subject while shooting.
  25. Its a bit difficult to tell - the focus metadata has been removed from the images when they were resized for posting. It does say that metering mode was set to average as opposed to the more intelligent multi-segment method so the sky in the second image would have skewed the exposure.
