  1. Do you have the touchscreen setup to focus? https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t4/menu_shooting/af_mf_setting_movie/index.html#touch_panel
  2. I tend to use Mediainfo rather than Exiftool for video - and for a similar stream from the X-T3 - it shows a bit depth of 10 Megapixels are as simple as 1920 x 1080 / 1000000 (i.e. calculated from image size and rounded to one decimal place)
  3. Film simulation bracketing is for the built-in Fujifilm provided simulations (this is not specific to the X-S10)
  4. Customization on the X-S10 is completely different from other Fujifilm X Series cameras. It's best to ignore tutorials written for those other cameras. The X-S10 doesn't have specific film simulation custom settings in the same way as the other cameras. But the good news is that the four custom settings on the top dial of the camera are both easier to access and give much greater flexibility. They include the ability to store not only the image quality settings (normally considered as film simulation) but also many other settings. You lose three custom slots but gain much more customization and ease of access with the top dial.
  5. You are shooting compressed raw - Apple doesn't support compressed raw. You will either have to switch to uncompressed or put up with the grey squares. There are, however, plenty of programs (such as Lightroom) that will be able to open those compressed raw files on the Mac its just anything native Apple (such as finder and preview that won't recognize them). FastRawViewer on the Mac is a good choice if you want to quickly view your raw files (and it supports both compressed and uncompressed raw).
  6. OK there are two things here: - you are seeing the File Storing message because you have Clarity set to non-zero - if you don't like the message change the clarity setting - if you want to always see a preview of each image after its has been taken there is a menu setting: Set-Up -> Screen Set-Up -> Image Disp. You can set it to display the image for 0.5 sec, 1.5 sec or continuous until you dismiss the display
  7. Do you mean on the rear screen? You can press the disp/back button to toggle through the different view options.
  8. It looks like you have the camera configured for F-LOG which was introduced with firmware version 4.1 Here is a link to the manual update which includes a description of the F-LOG settings: https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t2/x-t2_nfg_omw_en_s_f.pdf
  9. The X-S10 is different - it has 4 custom settings that can be selected by the top dial - and they aren't film simulation settings like the X-S10 - you can choose almost any function to be included in the custom setting (such as shutter speed and drive mode)
  10. Shooting Only IBIS is initiated when you use whichever button controls autofocus - AF-ON or the shutter button. AF-ON will initiate IBIS even if you haven't disconnected autofocus from the shutter button. The effect is really obvious to see.
  11. Always assumed 160 because it's the lowest setting without going to an artificial low.
  12. Yes its confusing terminology AF Mode - despite how it sounds - lets you set the type of AF (not AF vs MF) but you have to be in AF before you can use it : for the x100t AF Modes are "Multi" and "Area" Focus Mode allows to to choose between AF and MF and as Olaf says for the X100t its the switch on the side of the camera
  13. They are full replacements - just use the latest
  14. Thanks Frazer - interesting - I assume the design is the same for all X series cameras but I'm not going to take mine apart to find out
  15. The X-S10 is much better than the X-T4 in its ability to store settings - you have C1 - C4 on the top dial and you can configure these with almost all settings.
  16. I just opened a RAF sample from a Fujifilm X-T30 II (firmware 1.00) with Photoshop on the Mac which uses Camera Raw 14.2 - no problems
  17. Are you trying to edit a compressed raw file? They aren't supported by the Apple raw converter.
  18. Highlight the profile and press right mouse button This brings up a context menu One of the menu options is to delete the profile
  19. No - as far as I know this applies to all X series cameras that support film simulation bracketing
  20. That seems way high - here is the UK there is a fixed price which depends on camera model - for the X-100V it is £155 (at current exchange rates it would be about 220USD) "All prices include parts and labour, VAT, delivery back to a UK address and a renewed twelve month manufacturer's warranty on the entire product. " There is a caveat about parts no longer being available but that shouldn't apply to that camera.
  21. For Exposure Compensation make sure you have the EC dial on top of the camera set to C For Aperture make sure you have Aperture Ring Setting in the Button/Dial Setup menu set to Command Press the front dial to change between the different functions on that dial Long press the front dial to see (and change) the dial settings
  22. Have you made sure that you have selected "Focus Bkt" under the "Bkt Select" menu item? If you go into the "Shooting Setting" section of menu and click the "Drive setting" Item Now choose "Bkt Setting" Now choose "Bkt Select" and make sure "Focus Bkt" has been selected. Apologies if you've already done this but its something many people miss
  23. I don't look as closely at movie metadata as stills - but from what I've seen there is less information stored - I've done some tests with my X-T3 and I can see the White Balance (i.e. Auto, Kevin etc) but not specific Color Temperature. I don't have the X-T4 but I'd be willing to test if someone can send me a (small) X-T4 movie sample with Kelvin selected for White Balance and a specific value chosen.
  24. I don't have an X-E2s but this doesn't happen with other Fuji cameras. You need to make sure the RAFs were taken with the same camera and that the file structure on the camera is correct (reformat the card and take one photo - that will set up the directory structure you should use - copy the RAFs to the same directory as the existing single image file).
  25. Do you mean the Shutter Speed doesn't show in the display or it doesn't change? Display Custom Setting can be used to hide shutter speed but it wouldn't make any difference if you in back button focus or aperture mode.
