  1. No, I won't buy the thing just because it might look cute as it adds zero value to my shooting experience. I'd rather buy some lenses or hundred rolls of film.
  2. Thanks Andreas, it's good to be safe.
  3. I'm not sure you need any specific "small accessories" over there. The usual sort of things. I'd take 55-200 as Georgia is a Mountain land and 23f1.4 for street and low light. What I would like to warn you about however is the Georgian cuisine. It's fantastic and you'll have to eat (drink) a lot... I mean A LOT just because your hosts simply won't let you go while they see you are still alive So take some pills for stomach just in case. The quality of food is really good but it's quantity may surprise you. Anyway enjoy your trip!
  4. What was SS / ISO please? EFIX data shows some strange figures like 2700 / 500.
  5. I have MINOLTA MD TELE ROKKOR 135MM F2.8 which cost me $80 on eBay, however in order to pair it with Fuji-X camera you need an adapter. There are two options - plain adapter (without glass) may be about $30 - $100 which multiply the focal length by 1.5 so you'd have 200mm and so called Focal Reducer which gives you original focal length and even one additional stop of light - 135mmf2 in my case, but it will cost you about $100 - $500. I have Metabones Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x ($450). Cheaper Chinese adapters (~$100-$200) may or may not provide an acceptable IQ.
  6. The first zombies have already woken up, but while they look at the sun you can pass by safely. X-E2 + Minolta MD 50mm f1.4
  7. Not sure there are Japanese versions of 27mm at all. Mine is from China.
  8. and I totally agree with you. I consider 16-55 way better lens and I find 16mm much more interesting than 18mm I'd just told about my desire to have a choice. Here we have to buy either a body or an expensive lens. That's it.
  9. Exactly. I have a number of adapted telephoto primes which are screaming for IBIS, so I'm waiting when this camera appears in my local store to check it against the size and weight.
  10. 18-55 ~ $700 16-55 ~ $1200 nothing personal just business.
  11. I've checked my 35f2 and 23f2 and can confirm that both of them behave exactly like the one on the video. Although the sound on the video was intentionally amplified but the nature of it is identical and you may feel some specific vibration under your fingers when focusing this lenses.
  12. 11 (eleven) seconds handheld shot in review by Keith Wee is just mind blowing! https://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-x-h1-announced-pre-orders-reviews-samples-live-blogging/ I hope IBIS will find its way into other X-cameras as well.
  13. Thank's a lot for this overview. Waiting for images and further notes.
  14. 18-55mm at f22 has forked rays. 35mm f2 at f16 may suffer from purple flare. 23mm f2 at f16 looks fine.
  15. that was the reason. the manual has the table which defines all these mutual exclusions.
  16. what does it show when "drive" button is pressed? "still image" or something else?
  17. Film simulation might be disabled when camera set to "advanced filter" mode or uses wi-fi connection.
