  1. Hi Bo, You may lighten the image with exposure compensation dial using ETTR technique (check google/youtube if you are not familiar with it) and fine tune the final exposure in post processing. Regarding your camera setup there are a lot of videos and articals like this one - https://www.fujixpassion.com/2020/03/13/how-to-set-up-your-fuji-camera-for-street-photography/ I know it takes time by finally you sorted it out.
  2. I'm reading with glasses but don't wear them while shooting, so the only information I could make out are horizon level and histogram ))) Sorry, I didn't dig that deep.
  3. The first photo looks like if you shoot in manual mode (front switch) without manually acquiring focus or your camera is set to take a picture without confirmation that focus is ok.
  4. No, you don't. If you have any RAW converter like LR, C1 or whatsoever just forget about it.
  5. Take it. You won't regret. I have 10-24, 18-55, 55-200, 16-55. And 16-55 is the best of the best. If I should choose just two lenses now it would be 16-55 and 27mm.
  6. great. If you new to Fuji you may find this book quite helpfull - "The Fujifilm X-T1: 111 X-Pert Tips to Get the Most Out of Your Camera" by Rico Pfirstinger. When I started with my camera it was a real help.
  7. No, not sure about colors either, but if I find something I let you know.
  8. I'm sorry for the worst video you might have ever seen but it gives the idea what's going on... (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P7j9tMgLzipF2b04gS7b869l9nsLHlut/view?usp=sharing)
  9. I use MF lenses on my X-E2 (the same firmware as X-T1) and have no problem with that. If some particular ISO value selected then SS calculated instantly and displayed on the screen in real-time, if ISO set to AUTO then SS displayed ONLY when shutter button is half-pressed. The ISO value is always on the screen as well.
  10. Jesus God, Looks like some new Covid-19 simptom.

  12. X-photographer John Armstrong made comparison between X-T2, X-T3 and X-T4. You may check it here - (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBYCmA0eFhU)
  13. X-E2 + Minolta 45/f2
  14. It's ok for external zooms. 18-55 and 55-200 do the same.
  15. Yep. I use ExifTool as well, but wrapped into ExifToolGUI utility. It's a bit outdated but let me easily edit metadata in scanned film's jpgs.
  16. Hi Mike. I've checked my 16-55 and 35f2. Both lens have identical and accurate writings. You can additionally compare s/n on the lens and in the EXIF data.
  17. Painting. There are hundreds of genres and styles of painting which were developed through ages and now you tell us that the only valid genre is ... lets say Realism. You presented us with gergeous picture, but what about Impressionism, Expressionism, Modernism, Surrealism, etc. or what about monochrome? Have you ever made b&w landscapes? I don't think anyone should constrain himself like this in the art.
  18. Hi Ian. Maybe it's just out of focus area? It's hard to guess out you mean not seeing it. Can you provide one of that RAW with this effect.
