From the X-T2 manual, page 197:

 

"The format menu can also be displayed by pressing the center of the rear command dial while pressing and holding the trashcan button."

It's the same as with the X-PRO2

Same shortcut as with the X-Pro2. Still no Fn option for that option.

 

There are dozens of other shortcuts.

I would at least have liked the option to add this to the MY MENU options. It's the only setting I would like to customise and can't.

Fuji please make it easier to access "Format"...and give me the option to format both at once.

 

Two cameras equals four cards to wipe clean/format at the start of each shoot.

But it doesn't format the card(s). It merely deletes the images which is a completely different operation!

odd, i cannot get this shortcut to work consistently.    and @sarawak -- you are incorrect, when the menu DOES come up, it says FORMAT.

 

OHHHHH --- LONG PRESS of the trash button, THEN command button and VOILA.  NICE!

 

 

still would be ultra good to have this in My Menu or Q menu.    just DUMB not to.
