I love how the Middle Format cameras renders wider images with tight compression.

For example Fuji native 23mm lenses has the same field of view but different visual compression than Middle Format 50mm.

I would like to replicate the same compression on a smaller Fuji sensor. Especially 23-35 mm FOV (50-80 MF). The first idea comes to mind is to connect Middle Format lenses via speed adapter.

Do you have any experience with it and where such adapter can be found? Or is there a better way? Or should I just buy Fuji GFX?

I assume that you mean a similar depth of field and medium format. You need an aperture one stop wider to get a dof similar to a full frame lens of the equivalent focal length and probably  two stops wider for medium format.
