  1. There's a little dial on top. It switches from Continuous High, Continuous Low, to single shot mode. If you need more control than that, then I suggest you wait for the Fuji XT-N which contains a neural interface that might possibly be able to figure out what the hell would make you happy.. I've never heard any of them complain that their camera shoots bursts in burst mode.
  2. I recon that's because when they figure you want to shoot a burst of frames, you want to shoot a burst of frames, not one. Just because something doesn't work like Pentax or Nikon, doesn't mean that something needs to be fixed.. You are taught in the military to learn how to shoot a controlled 3 shot burst on a fully automatic rifle. I think you all need to work on controlling your bursts rather than complain that Fuji has their burst modes wrong because you can't shoot one frame in burst mode...
  3. Are you not counting the number of frames you are getting with each test? It seems to me like you got more frames in the buffer on the first test before it bogged down, and less frames on the second. The buffer seemed to bog down quicker on test two, but without counting the frames your getting, there is no way of knowing for sure. Naturally it'll take longer to write 20 frames then it will 15...
  4. Can't you just take your finger of the shutter when the kid stops running?
  5. So when you go out, you carry every lens you own? Or do you select the lens/lenses you want to carry that day? I'll grant you these are close in focal length, but my suspicion is Adorama was just looking for something to sweeten the deal and the 27 is an easy option. You get a free lens that is versatile and can be used when you want to make your kit small enough to fit in your pocket. So one camera, two similar focal lengths, two very different lenses.
  6. Why not? It's just a bundle deal, and as far as I know, Adorama is the only one to put this bundle together. So why not? You're getting a free lens..
  7. Buy it. There is no reason (nor indication) they would change the sensor size of the Pro2 or the XT-2.
  8. I bought my 60 on eBay and got a hell of a deal. Buy from a reputable seller and I think you're fine for the most part. I run everything I buy through a check on lenstag and haven't run in to any issues so far..
  9. She naturally wouldn't go into specifics. Just that the natural progression is to bump the resolution up to 24mp, and make the changes that come along with it, etc...Fuji will announce when they are sure they have it correct. Direct from a Fuji rep..What more do you want?
  10. One of the Fuji reps at the Expo over the weekend said 24mp isn't a rumor...It's a given, as it's the natural progression of the camera line...
  11. I don't agree with not giving out brands. You need a place to start. •I like F-Stop Gear for backpacking/hiking. Lots of different sizes and options for you to dial in what you need. •I like Think Tank's Airport series for everything. Makes travel easy and also a good idea for storage. ••You might also look at a hard/waterproof case if you do a lot of plane travel, or pick a TT Airport small enough that you can use it as a carry on. •I like Ona for everyday carry. Brixton for my daily bag, It holds my laptop too, and Bowery for my street bag. All of these bags you will find excellent reviews on, and I'd recommend them. As others have said, there is no perfect bag. You own several, because several bags meet your various needs on certain days and situations.
  12. Got to play with the 35mm ƒ2 at the expo over the weekend, and I was very impressed. Extremely light, very small, dead silent, incredibly fast and sharp. Definitely going to be one in my future. This lens will be excellent on the X-Pro2...
  13. If I was responding to you, I would have quoted you. Since I didn't quote you, my response was to the OP genius.
  14. No problems with my iPhone. Works every time without fail.
  15. And a faster processor. Sounds like a wonderful upgrade. They didn't listen to a bunch of winers (who'll never be happy anyway) and throw everything but the kitchen sink at it. I love it. This is, and should remain, a shooters camera. I hope they keep it this way...
  16. In a seminar I took last year, a professional photographer confessed that the photo he sells the most of was taken with a 3mp point and shoot camera. Really wish the 24mp and up crowd could get this through their heads. It won't make them better...If you are having trouble blowing up your pics now, perhaps its the photographer, and not the camera that's the problem...
  17. I have an Ape Case Insert that's very nice as well. I bought it at Amazon. I believe I got the largest one. It fits my whole kit (which you can see listed below). I also have a Tenba BYOB Insert. The smallest one is very small (I wish I'd bought the 9). Fits the X-T1 with the 35 on it's back, and not any room for anything else...
  18. There are folks out there who have made prints up to 6 feet with the X-T1. With proper processing and exposure, I have no doubt that the X-T1 will make any size print any of us want to make. All that being said, the rumors point to yes, you will get your new sensor.
  19. I don't care about video really. I'd much rather them keep these as they are, just improve what needs improving.
  20. I think his point is that it's silly to bitch about an 8 dollar lens hood when you just dropped a grand on a lens. Now back to the topic....
  21. Have no doubts that Fuji feels not having a dedicated flash system is a huge problem. One they are committed to fixing and are close to a solution. We have no idea how far the Metz issue set them back. The TTL solution is one of Fuji's top priorities.
  22. The original poster is asking about Real World Experience with the 16 ƒ1.4 for the X Series. Not about how it compares to Sigma's offering for full frame bodies. Somehow somewhere this discussion went down a completely different track. I only got to play with the 16 for a brief time, but I absolutely loved it, and have not heard of anyone who owns it that doesn't love it. If the 24 is a length you love, you most definitely love the 16. I've heard many that owned the 14 and didn't feel they needed the 16, but once they tried it out, they quickly forgot the 14 altogether. It's zippy, and sharp as hell, and the low light performance is quite amazing. I fell in love with it in the brief time I had with it and wish I could afford it. All that being said, I don't need it to be that fast and I can afford the 14 much sooner, so I've opted to try and grab the 14...That however is just my needs...As I said, if you love the 24 Focal and can afford the 16, then you will not be disappointed in my opinion.
