  1. Most likely the 3 buttons on the D-Pad, as well as the click wheels will also serve as customizable function buttons, and who knows what the new joystick will be capable of. Kind of hoping the one on top can be configured as a Wi-Fi button. Is it possible to a have diopter correction dial on an OVF? Figured you had to have the attachable lenses to achieve that...
  2. One of the reps at Billingham told me, they are designed so that they can set in water up to the gussets and never get a drop of water inside them. That's pretty freaking awesome. I love that they have a Poly Pro liner in-between the tricot and the nylon outer. Amazingly well built bags, and beautiful to boot. Maybe someday I'll own one...
  3. The only thing I notice different about the Pro1 over the T1 is the processor. It could be how I have mine configured though. I'm going through Rico's book to try and really master this camera as I love shooting with it. Many of my film cameras are rangefinders and although this is not a traditional rangefinder, it does give me that experience. I love the 35 on mine and I'm hoping to have a 14 in my possession soon. I really feel I'm going to love that lens on this body. I've also seriously considered just picking up the 18 as a grab and go lens for the Pro1. I shy away from the 27 though because it lacks the Aperture Ring.
  4. Or AF Mode. Or Metering Mode? Is there no Exposure Compensation on your model? No drive modes or focus modes either? How do you switch from Manual to Auto Focus?
  5. Every Fuji Rep that I've talked to confirmed they were working with Metz before their financial troubles. They also have stated that they are now working on a solution with another company. Kind of hoping they are following the advice of some of their Pro's and working with Phottix, but I haven't been told by anyone I've talked to about a specific company. They do know how important a dedicated flash system is, and they are saying that is at the top of their list to deliver a solution to their customers that works.
  6. One click of the Mouse. Just like Milandro said. This is what is happening. I too can confirm that this is happening and, like we have both done, I have clicked the "Begin Download" button once. These files, as you can see, are downloading simultaneously...
  7. From the album: Misc.

One click of the mouse downloads 2 files.
  8. I believe it's in your custom display settings...
  9. I discovered the same thing when I did my first FW update. I had misplaced the file and had to download again. However, like you and others, I was successful in using just the original file. Glad your update worked out alright. Good to point out that you must use the file that your camera will recognize as it won't recognize the file with the "(2)" and could potentially do major damage to the firmware.
  10. Gotcha. Was worth a shot to bring it up since I've experienced it before. I will try and update mine tonight and see if I experience the same issues. I did update my Pro1 last night with no issues, so it might just be this download link that is having an issue, but I also know there are many who have successfully updated as well... Maybe a different download link??? http://weshootfuji.com/2015/12/17/new-fuji-fw-released/
  11. Milandro, I'm a Mac user too, and this has happened to me when I've forgotten to delete the previous FW updates out of my folder. That could be the case here maybe?? Check the modification dates, sort by file name (with the file selected) and delete all the files with that name and re-download, would be my suggestion; but you may have already tried this.
  12. More and more the rumors are indicating that Fuji is staying loyal to the X-Pro1's customer base. Good Job Fuji...
  13. So glad to hear there will be no 4k in the Pro2. I'd personally like to see them flesh out the X-T1 line like Sony has with the A7 line. It'd be nice to have a group of bodies built around the XT-1 that have special capabilities like the A7 series are. Possibly make an XT-1 that is geared more toward video application and less emphasis on stills, etc. and let the XT-2 be the upgrade that it should be. I'm probably in the minority in this opinion though.
  14. I just picked up this one to see how it works. http://www.amazon.com/OAproda®-NP-W126-Portable-Battery-FUJIFILM/dp/B00PA2ABES/ref=pd_sim_421_3?ie=UTF8&dpID=41An-hAU0rL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1P6W19CEVQ876FS77CZR Would love to be able to find one that I can use in the back country and charge off of a battery pack that's been charged off of a solar panel. Hopefully it'll work well (for 7 bucks it's worth the shot), I'll give it some tries and report back my impressions as I have not heard anyone on here using this one. I have the Wasabi charger and love it. It's currently my travel charger, but I've been frustrated trying to find a way to make it a USB charger. Edit: Actually it looks like vidalgo has the same charger that I just got.
  15. Not really. I have a problem with the incessant whining that goes on in this forum though, and the I take issues with someone saying something is a buggy because it doesn't work the way Nikon or Cannon works. Spreading false information as it were. You have to learn to work with a system. We all chose Fuji. If you don't want to continue to buy Fuji, then by all means switch systems. It won't hurt my feeling and it won't hurt Fuji's either. I'd much rather people find a system they are happy with then say a system is broken because it doesn't work like one they like better. That...Is Stupid... I also take issues with someone putting words in my mouth. If I think you're stupid, I won't beat around the bush, I'll say "You're Stupid".
  16. Couldn't the agency just request DNG and throw away all the adjustments if they choose to do so. I've heard of many requesting DNG files since they can see where the photo was taken, and what changes have been made. I'm not aware of any other RAW format that does that.
  17. Take a breath why don't you. Your first post and this is it? Nice... Folks are taking Tom way too literally in my opinion... He's saying keep it the pure shooters camera it is now. Don't bog it down with a bunch of crap the majority in this market don't use. Tom didn't say strip the camera of any features it already has, just improve what it does have. Beef up the pixels, and the processor it will still be a coveted camera. Add in a few features like dual card slots and hybrid VF and you have a very desirable upgrade that just takes something that was great to begin with, and makes it even greater.
  18. Obviously it isn't too obvious, or you'd quit complaining about something that works as it's designed to work....Bro....
  19. Think you're lost in the conversation man. I'm not having a problem...It's a couple of others in this thread that are, but not me.
  20. After reading this ridiculous thread I put a new card in my camera and played with it this afternoon. I consistently got one shot in both AF-S and Manual focus in CL mode. Not sure what the problem is, but here's a tip for you all wanting to take one shot...Switch the selector on top to Single Shot Mode and when you want a slow burst, switch to CL mode, when you want the highest frame rate, switch to CH mode or learn to control your shutter. Seriously, it's three freaking clicks. It's not hard and it's not easy to mistakenly switch to ADV or Bracket or anything. You count one left is CL, two left is CH, two back right is S, one back right is CL. It's not broken, it's designed to work this way. It'd be a bug if it wasn't consistent with it's shot count. If you pressed it and got two shots one time, four shots another time and one shot another time (not accounting for user error ex: slow shutter, out of focus etc..); then it'd be a bug. Bugs point to inconsistencies, not consistencies. Clearly it is you that is different and not the camera. Stop with the silly nonsense...
  21. So he can do it in manual focus (when you said he couldn't) and now you are telling him he can't do it in Auto Focus (when you told him he had to do it in Manual?)??? Make up your mind. What do you want people to achieve this in? Auto or Manual? How can you call it a bug that the camera shoots bursts in burst mode? This is the most nonsensical conversation about continuous shooting modes that I think I have ever witnessed. Learn trigger control. It's your bug, not the cameras..
  22. There's actually a whole movie about the picture of the raising of the flag, and the marines involved in the photograph... Flags of our Fathers. Great movie. And there was quite a bit of controversy surrounding that photo, the marines, and the flag when the boys came home from the war...
  23. You know you can switch your lens to manual focus. You don't need them to create a whole new lens that's manual. Other than the 23mm ƒ2, all the others are manual focus already.
  24. Sounds like a perfect excuse to go to a local shop and try them both out....
