Gaz55
if you press the delete key for 3 seconds and then press in the rear command dial, the format menu will pop up asking you which slot you want to format Found this by trail and error Its not what in Manual says viewfromspace
kolbphoto
Thanks, that is a very easy and quick way.

ELCID86
Thanks. It took me a few minutes to find it buried in the menu. Edited September 10, 2016 by ELCID86
fotoheus
It's the same as with the X-PRO2
flysurfer
if you press the delete key for 3 seconds and then press in the rear command dial, the format menu will pop up asking you which slot you want to format Found this by trail and error Its not what in Manual says Same shortcut as with the X-Pro2. Still no Fn option for that option. There are dozens of other shortcuts. Edited September 10, 2016 by flysurfer
Tom H.
I would at least have liked the option to add this to the MY MENU options. It's the only setting I would like to customise and can't. Dear Fuji peeps, please add this in a future firmware update. Thanks ;-) Edited September 10, 2016 by Tom H. Gaz55
Yes that would be great Fuji to have it in my menu ELCID86
Adam Woodhouse
Great tip. Thanks!
pete1959
Agreed. Fuji please make it easier to access "Format"...and give me the option to format both at once. Two cameras equals four cards to wipe clean/format at the start of each shoot.
Sarawak
But it doesn't format the card(s). It merely deletes the images which is a completely different operation!
FujiNut
odd, i cannot get this shortcut to work consistently. and @sarawak -- you are incorrect, when the menu DOES come up, it says FORMAT. OHHHHH --- LONG PRESS of the trash button, THEN command button and VOILA. NICE! still would be ultra good to have this in My Menu or Q menu. just DUMB not to. Adam Woodhouse
Ya, I wish I could put it on the Q menu as well.
