Fuji XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR Lens or XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR
Watcher24 replied to TopDownDriver's topic in Fuji X Lenses
Since the XF16 was just released, there is not so much experience available concerning this prime. Beside that: I always wonder why and how the "commuity" should "decide" about the lens portfolio of somebody else. ... (Same thing with "which cam do you recommend me as a backup ... ") -
Very nice! (The system avoids me to like the picture with button ... but be insured i do LIKE it.)

Just in case if you want compare the Zeiss Touit12 with the XF14: Same place ... same thing ... (however i wouldn't consider it as facade): Blick aus Babel by Christoph, auf Flickr :.

A lake nearly as big as the sea would be fine too? :-)

I also reached my like quota for today - bummer! And, yes, ... Transsib trip would be worth a dedicated thread ... (But i'm still a bit afraid of repeating content already known to the guys coming from the german fuji community ...)

The topic of this thread is really open ... ... is this "travel fotografy" ... or do i just show the pictures from this and last years vacation? ... for me it is rather the latter ...

Some of them i really like! And i try to look at them as if there was no "water mark" ... but it IS hard ..

Thanks for sharing these pictures Goran!

The XF35 is fast, sharp and small and producing nice bokeh. If speed, optical quality and seize (and weight) all matter - the XF35 is the best compromise among all Fujinons. Actually it is not a compromise ... it is a very good lens. Was my favourite XF prime for a long time. Whether this focal lenghth (@APS-C) is interesting or not is another question - the lens is good.

@eagle_friends Sure the pic should be taken with a Fuji-X-cam ... ... but do you really insist in Fuji-Lenses too? Personally i love how fuji lenses render out of foucs areas (at least for some lenses) ... but i know a bunch of guys using fuji-x-cams which love the bokeh of their legacy lenses ... (I don't mind ... just wanted to ask ...)

When i looked at it (without glasses) i thought this could be a minor gate to paradise. ... but, well ... at the end it leads to a very profane facility ...
