:-) Thanks! The pic was taken with the XF56 ... actually a bit (too) long for street. I like the perspective near ground. I've seen the dog arriving 50m before, went down, waiting to take a "head shot" ... but he decided to tag his street ... i felt free to document his action.

How could we know your focal length preferences? Personally i won't give away the XF23 ... it is such a good lens! I wondered whether i should sell XF18 and FX14 to get the resources for the XF16 ... but i won't ... i like them both for several reasons. For sure the XF16 is very tempting, optically very good and weather sealed ... but for street i prefer XF35, XF23 or sometimes XF18 (and for sure the X100) :-)

My wish is to see a mixture of "animal farm" and "the far side galery". :-) But i'll be also glad so see just a bunch of cool pics from animals on the range, in the forest, wherever. I own the XF23 ... ... but also must admit that i've just started to appreciate Zeiss lenses. (I have an old 1.7/50 Planar with CY mount and and a new 2.0/50 macro planar ZF both of them using on analog bodies as well as on the X-T1). This said i'm rather "neutral" (b.t.w. ... i am a swiss guy.) However ... the modern Zeiss lenses for my taste are too big and heavy. As i said i know the 2.0/50 m.p., and when i see how big the FE 35/1.4 is compared to the XF23, which is definitively not a lightweight. But, well, top optical quality requires a certain size. I wouldn't consider the XF23 as "mediocre", not at all ... and such tests with a few test pics are hard to interpret for me. But i believe the Zeiss FE 35mm is a damn good lense. P.S. 2 typos at the beginning: XF 24mm ... Diameter: 72mm ...

Hi Andreas (@admin) Could you please increase the quota for daily "like" button usage? There is a lot of good stuff shown on which i'd like to give a positive feedback. (A textual feedback for sure is more useful ... but there is not always time left for that.)
