  1. Just another week at the office. X-T2 & 50-140, processed with the Velvia profile.
  2. Mine froze up twice during transfer of images to the phone via WiFi, after plenty of on time.
  3. The evening lounge, with the fireplace and the all night buffet with scallops, oysters, lobster, etc... And all the good booze you can drink. Must be a different lounge then
  4. New link to preorder it here: http://www.peakdesign.com/igg And just to clarify, I do not work for the company or get a commission. I simply agreed to review the bag as I see fit. Cheers all, Tom
  5. Live customisable zebras, please. And for stills too.
  6. Fashion and sunglasses, Italy in a nutshell... Rome, Italy. X-T2 & 35/2.
  7. Both shot on the X-T2 with 35/2. 1. Mirror, mirror on the wall... 2. That dirty shadow...
  8. I scribbled down my impressions while in Rome on my blog here. Suitcase size is fine, though my suitcase is one size bigger than carry-on. In a carry-on size luggage, you'd really have to push it down hard, but it will fold mostly flat. Due to the construction, it tends to reassume it's normal shape when you release the pressure.
  9. On the way back from Rome, Sunday evening. X-T2 & XF35/2.
  10. A4 doesn't fit, first thing I tried because then I could use it as my flight case for work. If you need that size, you'll have to go for the Everyday Messenger or something else. For me, the bag tends to sit best on the back, and not that low. Any other position feels less natural. I think that's because the back stays more or less in it's flat shape, it doesn't shape itself that much to your side if you carry it there. In general, the bag stays in shape much more than my Retrospective 5, but I removed the padding from that one completely.
  11. Taab has the diameters on their website. The measurements are very accurate, so if you have the focus ring diameter, that should tell you which tab is best.
  12. Just got back from walking here in Rome, in humid and grey weather though, so no great shots sadly. Impressions today. It's comfortable to wear for long stretches. It fits snug to the body if needed, and loose when you want it. It is slightly too big for my taste, but I'm just so used to the smaller ThinkTank bag, so I'll give myself some more time to get used to this one. The 50-140 fits fine with the hood reversed. The bag is still designed to fit a dslr with 70-200 attached, so any decent mirrorless setup should be fine.
  13. I think the benefits, from first impressions only, are to me that if you already own the 5, I'd also stick with it. If you don't own either, I'd pick the Sling.
  14. So happy I took the X-T2 to the maternity ward instead of relying on my phone. Some great memories captured that would have looked rubbish on a camera phone. X-T2, 35/2.
  15. I'll be in the following cities on the following dates. If anyone is interested in a photowalk, feel free to contact me. I'll bring the sling bag for testing, so you can check it out if you want to. 23/10 Rome 27/10 Budapest 16/11 Manchester 17/11 Manchester 24/11 Madrid 25/11 Hamburg 27/11 Tel Aviv
  16. And that's why I called it an opinion and not fact. As long as your remember that sentiment, it's hard to get excited by reviews and personal statements. I do the very occasional review (on request only), but I have no illusions that other users might come to different conclusions. Facts and art don't mix well.
  17. Every camera will have it's pro's and con's, there will never be an ideal camera for everyone and everything. And reviews are still just a person's opinion... If you want to know if a camera is good for you, rent one and try it out.

I shoot portraits with it all the time, lovely lens.
  19. I thought everyone knew already that this guy is a joke...
  20. My grandmother, meeting her great-granddaughter for the first time. For a long time, it looked like she wouldn't make it, but she's one tough lady. X-T2, 16/1.4 & 35/2.
  21. Thanks! :-) indeed, best decision ever to take the X-T2 to the hospital instead of just a chappy phone.
