  1. The Nikon D800 is not an X-T2 as is pretty obvious!
  2. Gordon, that's almost exactly what I thought, it all feels a lot slicker in operation and I also like the new font used for the screen and menus. As a side issue there seems no way to register the vertical power boost grip for warranty purposes!
  3. From who Ron? Just being nosy.
  4. I was contacted by WEX this morning that my X-T2 + Grip will be delivered tomorrow the 8th September, right on.
  5. Nowt wrong with either, and either would be fine! I use a PD leash and it carries an X-T1 + 18-135mm easily.
  6. If he wants to shoot video, get a bloody video camera!
  7. Having read this post and knowing the app had been updated, I thought give it a go boy. It took a couple of goes but I got it to work, phew.
  8. Not why I bought a Fuji stills camera!
  9. Sorry Bobcat your article is interesting but the pictures a very small and when I click on them to see an enlarged view I get told I don't have permission. Please post bigger pictures
  10. I understood you to mean somebody who had neither an X-T1 or an X-T2! Otherwise it rather depends on the depth of ones pockets.
  11. ArtPage, I'm going to disagree, why is starting with a 2 any more complicated than starting with a 1, don't think it would be! I started with a 1 because the 2 wasn't around, and came to like the 1 very much, but I am still hankering for the 2, hopefully only until Thursday, by starting my Fuji system months ago I properly have enough glass with which to adorn a 2(no doubt GAS will kick in soonish) oh dear. For somebody starting out there is no point in buying a 1 any longer why not go directly to a 2! OK it will take a month or two for the supplies of X-T2s to sort themselves out, but my advice is go straight for the 2! Regards Mike PS: My lens list is as follows most financed by PXing my Nikon gear: 10-24, 18-55, 18-135, 50-140, 60 + 56!
  12. ArtPage, it sounds very much like that you don't trust Fuji to offer continuos support to the X-T2, going by Fuji's past history with their products, I think you are mistaken. In fact past history of Fuji support would suggest that they will indeed support the X-T2, there is no reasonable reason to not purchase an X-T2 if you will want to buy one in the future! I still suspect that there is not a camera made that is without some teething troubles, nowadays that is not so much of a problem as the majority can be solved with a firmware update!
  13. Quite a queue forming at the WEX door. There are going to be busy times at Parcel Force
  14. Thanks Pompo, now I know.
  15. Hopefully I'll be able to tell you next Thursday!
  16. I certainly hope so! Gaz55 lets hope all goes well.!
  17. Deepsun, I ordered from WEX Photographic a UK company that I have dealt with quite a lot recently! Very good company to work with!
  18. Just been emailed by my supplier that a brand new sparkly X-T2 will be with me on Thursday 8th September, yippee
  19. Thanks Pompo, I did see that when I went searching, but obviously didn't realise that's what it was! Where does "French" come into it?
  20. If you want help I would suggest the faulty shots are the ones we need to see! You can post straight from your desktop I do! You don't need to use Flickr
  21. Pompo, what is it, photo please?
  22. Do you mean a hot shoe cover with a French flag on it?
  23. Ain't all this waiting just so frustrating!
  24. Menphrad, if you mean the hot shoe cover then purchase a replacement for Fuji, I also don't think its loss will affect the cameras WR, but don't forget it is NOT a waterproof camera!
