  1. A slightly different edit!
  2. I like the fact that the X-T2 has more megapixels that gives a little more room to crop, and for me I like that idea! The improvements to the focusing have been well documented. There are also other "improvements" which will only make Fujifilm photography more pleasant, that's enough for me to upgrade. My purchase of an X-T1 was only ever a stopgap while waiting fo the X-T2, having said that the X-T1 experience has not been disappointing, roll on September!! PS: I note that Amazon USA has reduced the X-T2 price by a whole 95cents.
  3. My point was to point out that IMHO, probably very badly put that if you have the ability to purchase either an X-T2 or an X-T1 then it would in the long term pay dividends to go for the X-T2! As soon as possible I'm voting with my wallet, because the toolbox is filling up with IMHO better tools! That is not to say that other models will not produce super photos, OK.
  4. Sorry double post, oops.
  5. If you buy the best you can, and if its capabilities are greater then yours you can grow into it, what I'm saying is definitely buy the X-T2 if you can afford it
  6. Another reason I just love the X-T1. 10-24mm ISO 6400 Click up
  7. You're right sometimes I wish Fuji would change the photo.
  8. I somehow don't think Robert Capa was using a digital camera!
  9. That lens comparison app is quite handy!
  10. Well done Eibr, super. The 100-400 mm just keeps on impressing as you photo illustrates.
  11. Brian, get someone to send you a copy of "Amateur Photographer" magazine and peruse the ads.
  12. Looking at the Fuji UK site refurbs their prices seem to be on the high side. Brian it would help to give appropriate advice if you indicate what country you are from! PS. As I now know you live in Spain, surely there are local dealers who sell used gear! If not there are loads of British dealers who sell second hand stuff!
  13. Some more flowers Click up
  14. One of my back garden roses the morning sun. Aperture-priority AE, 1/80 sec, f/6.4, ISO 200
  15. Milandro, I know this a tad late, but I have upgraded to El Capitan and Aperture is still there and functional so obviously El C did not remove it! One of the worst decisions Apple have post the Steve Jobs era was to ditch Aperture!
  16. Nicely done Merlin, but I don't really like Gladioli, have a word with Barry Humphreys.
  17. Sorry Rod, I maybe a bit thick but why not change the SD card, don't see why you need to download from the camera, or to what you are down loading to? If it is to a laptop or the like why not get a USB card reader? Sorry if I've missed the point. Regards Mike
  18. From a recent holiday.
  19. Johant, if I had turned round you would have seen the Reichsberg Castle. Not quite a ruin but hey
  20. At the moment the X-T1 or X-Pro 2, but soon it will be the X-T2!
  21. The River Mosel. C&C please
  22. dv, did you use a tripod for these super shots?
  23. Hendrix, if you look back through this topic there are numerous examples of no name locations! Post Nos 4,5,10,14,16,32,33 and 36! Thankfully there are also many more that do give the location, are you sure you haven't snuck in and named lots of photo locations? Regards Mike
  24. X-T1 + 10-24mm f4 Click up
  25. Keeping the box allows one to have somewhere to put all the bits that come with modern cameras.
