  1. I'm sure I'm not the only one to find that the joystick is useful in a whole host of ways!
  2. Try "take photo without lens" it's in one of the menus! It's in the button/dial setting!
  3. Why do s ISO L not show an ISOs value of iso 100 but is showing a value of 200. I have not yet found the setting to alter?
  4. Go to the screen set up menu! And it's called "Framing Guidelines" Page 213 of the manual.
  5. I think you may have cracked it, nothing's wrong with what I see.
  6. Did you have pre-focus set to on,if so try turning it of! I certainly am seeing 490 and I shoot Raw + Large fine, raw is uncompressed!
  7. Dear all thanks for the responses, but I ha come to the conclusion that the grid has to stay until the shutter button in half pressed, hey ho.
  8. I think the X-T2 is going to be a humungous hit and rightly so!
  9. MVLOW, I reckon you have answered your own question, unless you have an urgent need for speed what you have works so upgrade when you require new ones!
  10. Can't help there as I use a Mac!
  11. I've set function button 1 to launch WI-FI as it was on the X-T1
  12. Gaz, I really like the Green Man mask, which going by the rust stain is made of cast iron?
  13. Fran am I right in thinking you are a lady, if so then the attitude of the salesman was very wrong indeed! But his advice in my mind was correct, but of course ya pays ya money so it's your choice. He was out of order.
  14. I thought that leather camera cases went with the dinosaurs. But obviously I'm wrong! I would prefer protection to my lenses rather than the camera, so that they do not rattle about in my bag. Normally when I've arrived somewhere, I usually wear a Domke Photographers vest, a huge number of pockets to put your stuff in! Some may think that nerdy, but I got the pockets!
  15. Ron, I have tried again after restarting the app, and when trying again clicked on connect and lo & behold the damn thing worked, but it did switch off the VF and the LCD screen. It then seemed to be locked up until I clicked disconnect and switching the camera off & on the VF + LCD and the camera appeared normal. I suppose it is logical to turn the monitors off if you are operating the camera remotely? Whilst the monitors were off all functions of the camera appeared to function properly! Plus I could also browse slot 1 and upload the pictures to my iPhone 6 Phew I hope that means it's now working OK I need to lie down in a dark room and recover now. Hope that helps Ron!
  16. Yes it's disappointing to say the least. In my case I think it is a camera problem, but I'm not sure as the app works OK with my X-T1
  17. I too have problems I get a "connection lost" message and so there is no remote operation.
  18. When the shutter button is pressed the grid goes away, what I would like is that it not there at all, it is not necessary to change the point of focus!
  19. Just scroll the hour numeral past 12 and it will show PM, mine did! PS: Jigesh sorry I had not read your post before I posted.
  20. Milandro I have looked, but no mention of the grid!
  21. Dear all, Is there a way to switch off the focus point grid when using the focus point selector lever? Cheers Mike
  22. I believe that to be an X-T10? Check out the the two pictures of the Devil's Rock, the rocks to the right of the DT have disappeared on the camera picture!
