  1. Indeed, Little guy doesn't even care about when I tell him how excited I am to get hold of my XT-2 Yeah I had some good shots indoors with Pro Neg Standard, might want to add +1 on color though as it can look a bit pale otherwise. This was shot with Pro negative Hight JPEG; SOOC; only resized it. It was shot with my new 90 and I had the shutter @ 1/250 to avoid camerashake (might have been a bit overkill) so ISO jumped up to 5000. Still looks ok IMO
  2. I got the 90 yesterday because there was a good deal on it and I'm getting the X-T2 with the kitlens 18-55 this week. Price is for the lens when you buy it as a kit with the 18-55 so it's good deal. And even though zooms are kinda lazy I will need it when travelling with my family and I don't have as much time to run around with my camera.
  3. And no problem handholding 1/125 shutterspeed which I feared after reading about people using minumum 1/250 to get sharp results. Not additional sharpening in post. Just adjusted the WB slightly
  4. Nice! The 18-135 most be perfect for that kind of enviroment ^^
  5. Yeah I realized after asking fuji. I love being able to ask them on anything and get answers more or less instantly Took them lik 50 minutes to answer my question and it's a Sunday. Only tried the 90 a few shot indoors so far on a tripod. Supersharp and I love the huge focus ring, sucha difference when manually focusing compared to the 35 f/2.
  6. Nevermind. I asked Fuji on facebook and they replied that it's just the motors running the AF.

  8. Well that was a quick autumn. Snow fell a week ago. Please contribute with your winter pics. Both shot handheld @ ISO 5000 @f/2 with the 35 f/2
  9. RAW stilll wins I guess. First one shot in ASTIA simulation. Second one shot in RAW and slightly retouched, but the raw file already looked better in colors. I guess I should've shot PROVIA instead of ASTIA in this lightning.
  10. I'd go with 18-55 since it's half the weight and more discreet and will therefor be more comfortable to lugg around. I don't think you have to worry about not having WR. A little drizzle should be fine, I had for more plastic and cheap lenses in worse weather than England.
  11. Hope self portraits are ok in this thread. Took this one today at the restaurant when we arrived a bit early. The X-pro1 is surely the best looking camera I ever had and might ever have (including the X-T2 which I will buy very soon).
  12. Where is this?
  13. Nice thread. Took these just a cpl of days ago with the 35 f/2. Shot in velvia. Almost sooc, only slightly increased the WB (warmer).
  14. This will be a perfect compliment to the 23 f/2. I already have the 35 f/2 and the 50 f/2 is probably too close in focal lenght to be worth it. So would I would want is a perfect compliment to the 35 f/2. A small wideangle WR lens. Yes there's the 18 and 16 but the 18 f/2 is small, but not WR, the 16 f/1.4 is WR but not small. And to be extra greedy a 70 f/2 as AceFlibble mentioned. 18 f/2 WR + 35 f/2 WR + 75 f/2 WR. Perfect trio.
  15. Thanks for everyones responsenses. Still difficult to make up my mind but I'm leaning towards option 1 (18-55, 35, 90).
  16. The following combos are about the same price. Which combo would you go for? X-T2 18-55 35 f/2 90 f/2 or X-T2 16 f/1.4 35 f/2 50-230
  17. Yeah I kinda get the feeling that if you have both, one of them will be redundant sooner or later. I already have the 35 and am contemplating whether I should get the 18-55 with the X-T2 or skip it. if I do get it and
  18. This is a very affordable lens, although the IQ looks good, I guess the AF speed is where the lens is comprised? Is it fast enough on a XT-2 to track kids running around?
  19. Anyone owning or previousy have owned both these lenses. How much do you use each, % wise?
  20. Wife and our newborn.
  21. You mean I can program the EV dial to increase/reduce iso instead of exp? Manually, I manually select aperture and shutterspeed, but I have ISO on AUTO
  22. One issue I have with the X-Pro1 which I understand is not the issue with Fujifilm later releases is that I have to chose whether I want to be able to change shutterspeed or exposure. If I put the shutterspeed on Auto I can change the exposurewith the exp.dial but if I select a shutterspeed manually the exposure dial will have no effect when turning it.
  23. And I heard from basically everyone else that the AF system is the best part with the X-T2. Confused...
  24. Have you held a X-T10? For some people like myself it's too small and not ergonomically at all.
  25. Get a cheap compact camera for 100 bucks. If he still has the interest after a year, then buy something more expensive.
