  1. I wonder how much the WR makes a difference though. I've been to Hong Kong, China, Thailand which are all very hot and humid places with 3 different no weather resistant lenses canon lenses and I never had a problem. Where will the WR make a difference? Or have I've just been lucky?
  2. Kinda expensive. Only about 130 bucks less than the 1.4. But I guess this is for people how wants a more portable and WR and probably faster AF. Maybe those benefits are enough for fuji to have a price not far from the original 23.
  3. I just see no need for it when I already have the 35 f/2 which is also sharp, fast focusing and small and very close in focal lenght
  4. Or, just 16 + 35 + upcoming 50 WR. 1 expensive lens (16)
  5. That's a good 3 lens combo, but I'm only gonna be wanting to spend a lot on one lens (as for now). 16 + 56 or 90 are 2 expensive lenses. 18-55 + 35 + 90, is only one expensive lens. And 18-55 lens will be good for travel and also if I wanna do some video recording because of the OIS. Another plus is the OIS for landscape night shooting. The 16 is however a very exciting lens and if I would go for primes only I might reconsider my bugdet
  6. I feel like waiting for the XE-3 right now. X-T2 is overkill for me and I can't justify paying that much for a cam for my everyday shooting which is mostly just family candid shots, travel shots and some landscape and street photography. I'll wait for the xe3 which will be more than suffice for me as long as it has flip out screen and joystick.
  7. What's the build quality like on the xe series? Is xpro and xt superior?
  8. My son getting his hair cut. Monochrome +G filter. Straight out of cam, just slight sharpening in LR when exporting. ISO 5000 and 6400
  9. Beautiful sky the other day. Only increased the clarity in the LR.
  10. I tried the 90 on the X-T2 (they had a pre-showing before release) in the store yesterday and wow, the 90 is beautiful. Not as big as I imagined, and more useful focal length than I imagined. I just took pics of people in the store basically but this would be great for taking portrait and action shots of my kid running around. And because the faster AF than the 56 (from what I've been told) it's more suitable for action shots.
  11. So is X-Trans sensor better than Bayer? Or is it debatable? Also, I guess no joystick (a la xpro2/xt2) for X-A3?
  12. How you liking the 55-200?
  13. Just realized that the 90 is not more expensive than the 56. It's actually a cheaper. I think it would be a better complimenting lens than the 56 to the 18-55 and 35 f/2, as it would give me a medium tele lens. Is the AF faster on the 90 compared to the 56? Downsize is that it's a big big lens, but slightly smaller than the 55-200.
  14. I wonder how the X-T2 compares to the 6D in terms of AF. In my country you can now get a brand new 6D with the 24-70 f/4 lens for slightly less of the cost than the the X-T2 with the 18-55 f/2.8-4 Or the 6D and the 24-105 L + 50 f/1.8 STM for slightly less than the X-T2 and 18-55. Kinda tempting.
  15. Yeah as I'm already satisfied with the IQ from the X-Pro1 the main things I look forward to and how I justify the upgrade is: *AF speed, AF accuracy (especially in continues focus) and new AF modes *Huge VF and fast refresh rate *Flipout screen (for odd angles, had a lot of use of this with my old Canon 70D) *Joy stick (hate having to press down first and then using dpad on xpro1 to move AF point, feels clumsy) *Ergonomics *More film simulations (I shot a lot in JPEG with FUJI and enjoy their simulations) *Higher resolutions for more cropping abilities *4k. Although I don't film a lot, I'm sure I will enjoy it when I use it. But I guess I need a 4k screen first? I hope it will be close to be as discreet and unobtrusive as the X-Pro1
  16. I wonder how the X-Trans I sensor compares to the X-Trans III sensor. I find the X-TRANS I sensor in my xpro1 is terrific, better than II because of the waxing issue with II
  17. Straight out of cam. +2 shadows and +2 highlights in cam. Momochrome + R sim.
  18. If there was a X-E3 with joystick and flipoutscreen and X-Trans 3 sensor but not as big VF and AF similair to X-Pro2, for obviously less price than X-T2 I'd probably buy that instead But I doubt X-E3 will come with flipout screen because of it's rangefinder style.
  19. Fast enough with the X-T2 for candid shots at parties and that kinda stuff?
  20. I'm thinking of a portrait lens (although the 35 works pretty well for this and probably the 18-55 @ 55) The upcoming 50 f/2, or 56 f/1.2 or 60 f/2.4. Pros and cons with all of them 50 f/2 +light and discreet (one of the main reasons that I switched to Fuji from Canon) +Probably gonna be WR +Probably fast AF -Maybe unnecessary when you already have the 35 f/2 and 18-55. 60 f/2.4 +Macro and portrait lens in one -Slow AF and not useful for moving objects 56 f/1.2 +super fast aperture -big and heavy
  21. What 3rd lens would be the best complimenting lens?
  22. I'm sure, but still not on par with the X-T2, and I dislike the Xtrans II sensor because of the waxy skintone look @ higher isos.
