Fujifilm X T-Shirts on Sale
Adam Woodhouse replied to ericdraven's topic in Other Fuji X Accessories
Problem with these shirts is they are a v-neck which is more of a woman's cut than a men's cut. I was given one of these by a Fuji rep at the launch of the XT2 and when I wore it I thought the v-neck was a bit more of a ladies cut. Then it was commented to me that the v-neck looked 'unflattering' on me because of it being a very feminine cut. There are men cut v-necks but usually the 'V' isn't so deep. This may differ by countries/cultures, but in north america this is a great ladies cut, but not common mens cut. Just FYI. -
Fuji 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 or the 16-55mm f/2.8 for Travel?
Adam Woodhouse replied to KMLNewYork's topic in Fuji X Lenses
I have both and the 18-135 is my travel go-to. It is lighter, has IS and of course the much greater focal reach for those times it is needed. Don't underestimate the importance of the IS if you plan on doing any video capture as well. And with having the XT2, you should do some video capture. The video is excellent and fun to use to add value to the travel documenting. -

I agree. But we both know it will be done.

That new Sony a9 is a pretty amazing camera. But at $6000 Canadian versus $2000 Canadian for XT2, I don't believe it is 3 times as good to justify 3 times the price. For that price ... the camera has to be pretty impressive. (at the time of release that is). The Nikon D3 was amazing when it was released. People were so amazed by its low light performance ... Nikon had many converts for a few years. And it was very expensive, top of the line when it came out. Today it can be had pretty cheap. It still is an amazing camera that most people couldn't use to its full potential.

Lightroom for x-trans... seriously?
Adam Woodhouse replied to akphoto's topic in RAW conversion Fuji X-Trans Sensor
Can you share RAF file for some of us to test with different sharpening setting in LR to see if what you experienced can be resolved or if LR simply cannot render the green details properly? I would give it a shot and compare it to X-Transformer to see what happens.
