When Take Kayo was asked during his last live stream why there is no silver version of X-S10 he answered that it's for the same reason X-H1 doesn't have silver version as well. Both cameras are just plain ugly and black color helps to hide it to some degree. (min. 54 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id3OPVAaCmE ). That was a joke though.

You won't regret 35f2. I have 18-55 as well but the longer I've been using it the less satisfied with IQ I become, so finally I've bought 16-55f2.8 and though it's a fantastic lens but not for travel.

Providing that you've got a zoom already I'd take 35f2. Love this lens.

mdm got a reaction from zuluviper in Vintage lens with X-E1 produces soft/out of focus images
As we know any camera shake could be omitted by reducing shutter speed, so I tend to use at least 1/250 with wide and normal lenses. And of cause keep in mind that wide open vintage lens almost always would look soft, so close it down one stop to gain sharpness.

No need to be a dick.  You know what:  Do what you want.  LOL some folks can't be helped. Are you sure you aren't a Nikon or Sony user?  Here's an answer for you:  Capture ONE is THE BEST RAW processor for Fuji files bar none.  LR, comes in second.  If you did YOUR homework and checked other resources on this forum you would find that to be the case.  I use C1Pro for editing, whereas I use LR for ingesting, sorting, and eventually cataloging.  This is the reason why I wouldn't pay a subscription.  Also, I'm old school; I do not want to "subscribe" to anything.  I'd rather own it (as far as the licensing allows) as opposed to renting.  Just like I own my two homes (one outside of Acadia), thre vehicles - one at my summer home, and my freakin' Cessna!  There. How's that for showing off.  I can go on if you wish....
And if you ever need flight lessons, look me up. Jerk

You can also do this using exif editors without having to worry about that extra byte in the body name. But hex editors are more fun!
(In general, is you do this make. sure the sensor and bsi type etc. etc. are the same so that the image editor can bring out the most in the file. You might want to change the information after you have imported it.)

I've asked without irony or sarcasm, I've asked because Fujirumors is a kind of a "bible" for X-users, where we spend almost all our free time and this lens as well have been discussed for years and covered long before its anonsment.
