  1. Just tried mt X-t1 with the little 27 2.8 lens. Back and forth between my hand at 40cm and the background, nailed focus easily. .
  2. Pretty much as per the title, what is the largest card supported by the X pro 2? Can it handle 2x 128gb cards? What about 2x 256gb cards? Would be SanDisk Extreme pro UHS-1
  3. No way X-T2 will come out at X-T1 prices as they are now. X-T2 will be quite a bit higher than the current X-T1.
  4. Why do people keep thinking the X-T2 is going to have 3 batteries? Seems pretty obvious in the video from that link that the new battery grip is the same style as say Canon DSLR battery grips which is just two in the grip.
  5. Thanks, seems like its quite soft. Might just stick to using my Canon for the majority of landscape shots and get a Canon tilt shift.
  6. Hi all, I'm wanting to get a tilt shift lens to have a play with and take on my trip to Europe later in the year. I have the option of getting a canon one for my DSLR's but would rather something for my fuji kit as this is what I want to travel with. Does anyone own or used the Samyang tilt shift lens on a fuji? Whats it like?
  7. I have more friends that have those than real cameras, all in their 20's and all female though.
  8. Keen to hear how you like the backpacker with the BH-30? I'm torn between the RRS TQC14, TVC-24, Sirui 1205X and,Mefoto backpacker for its size.
  9. I started off with filters with all my Canon gear. After getting some super tele's such as the Canon 200-400 and 600 F4 IS which don't have any provisions to mount a front filter and each cost more then rest of my kit combined I stopped worrying about filters on the other lens. I still have some and will use them only if I anticipate being in a very dusty environment where it is quicker to change the filter than clean the lens element properly.
  10. I didn't know how involved it was for the finish, thanks for the picture.
  11. Guess I'll go ahead and get the Graphite X-T1 then. I could always upgrade it later if an X-T2 version came out in it.
  12. I'd be wanting the 10-24 as a flexible wide. 18-135 would be a good all rounder to go with it if you need to cover the whole FL range.
  13. Whereabouts in Aus are you going? What do you plan to do and what do you like to shoot?
  14. I shoot a bit of everything with my Canon gear, though mostly wildlife. Could probably live with 5; A wide 10-24 Fast primes 24/f1.4 or 35/f2 56/f1.2 Long Zooms 50-140 100-400 Things like the 12/f2 (samyang), 90/f2 and which ever of the 24/35 that was not chosen would be close runner ups and potential purchases later
  15. 16, 56 & 90
  16. Hopefully with the X-T2 coming in the not so distant future should we expect an X-T2 Graphite as well? Can anyone speculate on how long after the X-T2 release we might sell the graphite version?
  17. My Canon kit is basically long glass these days, 70-200, 100-400, 200-400 1.4x, 600 with 1d4, 5d3 7d2 mostly wildlife and some sports. I could adapt some of that long glass for my XT-1 but lose out on AF which makes it pretty much useless to me for what I like to shoot, so I'm planning on getting the Fuji 100-400.
  18. Great review, i think I'll be adding the 35 f2 to my list
  19. I'm facing the same decision for a wide. I'm leaning towards the 10-24 though I'll likely end up with both at some point and possibly the 12 f2 from Samyang for astro
  20. I had a play with mine on my fuji and a canon 600 speedlite and could not get them to operate, has anyone had any success here?
  21. As you say in your post, "rumors of the XT-2" how long do you want to wait based on a rumor? I'd get the XT-1 now, you can always sell and upgrade later if your really need the latest body.
  22. I don't have a specific tripod for my XT-1 yet but I'm planning on buying one of the smaller RRS tripods. Choice is between the TQC-14 and TVC-24. I'm leaning towards the latter.
  23. Hi everyone, New member from Australia Picked up a few Fuji items in 2015 as a lighter weight option to my canon gear and to serve as a travel kit for trips that are not dedicated photo trips. I've really been enjoying my XT-1, looking forward to expanding my Fuji kit and seeing where Fuji heads in the future.
