  1. for sequential mode, does it make sense to have 64gb on slot 1 for raw and 32gb slot 2 for jpg?
  2. No issues connecting and uploading to ipad. Have you found a away to set a button for wifi instead of going into the menu?
  3. I also noticed xt2 quicker AF using 60mm macro vs on a xt10, will still hunt but quicker AF.
  4. Hi Cosinaphile, great work so far. let us know how it goes with the ultrafire flat pack. Would be even easier to buy the AC adapter kit that comes with the fake battery, cable can be modded to include DC jack, you could still use AC adapter or your own battery pack. No need to mod a used battery and risk wrong connections or wire shorts. only concern is unprotected ultrafires, is there a protected version just to be on safe side? yeah, I don't know what all the negative talk is about, its the same concept as the T1 and T2 external battery packs for extended usage, T2 with now cable with 3x batteries. current battery is definitely under powered for sure, made more for like point and shoot
  5. Hi, can I use T1 glass screen protector on T2, are they same size? thanks
  6. Agreed and understood in regard to 2 flash system however Nikon Canon bodies are bigger and balanced to accomodate large flash units. There is imbalance with fuji x bodies and large fuji x flashes, yes? Hopefully like you said, there will be something smaller and cheaper down the road as main flash wireless ttl controller I just picked up a used fuji ef-42 flash, does any canon off camera cable work? eos? will be using flash camera bracket, offset the flash and cable for now.
  7. So what is the deal with camera flash like the new fuji 500 model. The thing is huge when put on small fuji x bodies. You have to buy two of these just for remote TTL flash? It is just not fuji but why still have hot shoe when it is so rarely used. Why so difficult to make small wireless TTL commander Built into the body or mount on hot shoe and Allow remote flash? They advance so far with sensors and processors but flash is still same dinosaur as slr film days fuji could have done what yongnuo system does with small master commander and control Multiple flashes, well they still could build one. Im just reading how everyone is struggling with simply wanting remote flash with TTL function 3rd party wireless TTL is great if you can afford it
  8. Hi, Based on your previous Fuji X purchases, what is the time frame you would expect to see price drop on the X-T2, few months, half a year, a year? I am not complaing about the price, Fuji put a lot into the X-T2, it is an awesome piece of technology to own at this time. My gripe is I have Amazon gift card from trade in and I'm losing even more with the added sales taxes. How many months of waiting vs price drop is I guess what I am asking, ball park figures obviously. Supplies could be low and demands high keeping it expensive for quite some time. The fuji x100 was like this, could not touch one for years and just forgot about it.
  9. Hi, I have tried 2 adapters for Fuji so far and no go. Is it a common problem with ebay adapters, quality control is really bad? or just my bad luck. First adapter was sony mount, it would not lock in at all on the camera, was defective batch. 2nd one had light entering where the lens release is positioned. Now I cannot use my Tamron 90mm at all so forked out for a used xf 60mm. 2nd adapter is for Nikon F mount using a Nikon 50mm f1.8. This one has light a soft haze bloom, like shooting through thin layer of fog. I think also due to light leaking in. I gave up on adapters for fuji now. Seems to be lot of trial and error, fingers crossed. My last hope is the 10 and 16mm extension tube adapters. Really hope this one works since there is no fuji 1:1 macro lens out. Hope they will do a 180mm like Tamron's.
  10. Lens is 18-55mm set to f5.6. bright noon sunlight so plenty of contrast. all standard settings.
  11. ok, Im still getting use to the xt10. I had face detection on and shot a group of people in bright day light. some of the photos, it focused on the palm tree behind and faces were out of focus. My mistake here was using the LCD display in bright daylight wheh I should have used the viewfinder, been awhile since I had camera with one. I am still unclear and unsure with AF here. Its set to AF zone. for quick shots like these where you dont have time to move cursor around to pick a focus point, are you just relying on AF? what are your tips on using Auto Focus which is such a basic question when cameras should have little issues with AF. I used iphone at same time and it immediately locked into the faces which kinda stinks fuji could not been more fool proof. I was really surpised I got few out of focus shots even with face detect on, some settings I have done incorrectly? Other question is only the fuji remote app works for me, however it only let me sends one photo at a time, how can I select photos then send at once or send all?
  12. Never mind. The base is just the current settings, not the stored default values.
  13. Hi, I have Quick Menu <Base> all set to standard and 0. I have saved C1-C7 with different settings. When I select of the custom settings then go back to Base, it sticks with the custom setting values that it was one previously. Is this how it works? why have Base then if it is just going to stay on one of the custom settings? So if I want standard and 0, I have to save that, say C1? The Base thing is throwing me. Thanks for clarification.
  14. Good to know for 60mm macro! For real close ups, I always have to use tripod and manual focus for the 90mm macro. I got the shakes really bad. X-t10 has I think 7 slots for lens adaptor and I was able to go in there and set one for 90mm, will fiddle with the numbers when the lens adaptor arrives.
