The 18-55 is a great lens, surely one of the best "kit" lenses ever
-
Go for the T1

I'd only wish that the X-E/Pro Serie cameras had a battery grip and 2 memory cards slot available, like the X-T

My 2 cents Super Takumar 135 both 3,5 and 2,4 and Tair 11A. However it depends on your personal taste. Each lens has its own flavour.

Nice. Though I'd like to meet the dancer

Shooting is a class itself. Steal from the others as well.

Depending on where you'd like to go visit, I'd bring the X-E3, 12, 18-55 and 55-200. You might add the 23, but those three lenses cover the entire range. If I'll be around, I'll happily invite you for a coffee

I've checked my 23mm f/2 and it has the same sound. Though is not like that, which is hugely amplified by the mic. It's probably the motor inside. It makes the sound also when in AF. But you can hear it only if you put your ear next to the camera. It's a thud like a "croc croc croc". Nothing to bother about. Compared to the old Micro Nikkor 85mm it's as silent as the deepest silence.

I imagined it wasn't allowed using a flash. If you knew any of them it would be interesting trying to do some experimentations. Though you should find the right place.

Better and better. You should experiment with rear curtain flash, if you have the chance and if possible. I don't know if it's a reharsal and one is allowed to use a flash

first and last very nice

Russian r/f Lenses on Fujifilm digital cameras

Kypf, russian lenses are quite cheap, beside very few samples, that you could buy the one you want to test and sell it if it doesn't work -

With some you lose infinity. It's the case of the Tair 3S, the 300mm. I had to order a customized adapter because you lose the infinity focus. With other lens, like the Voigtländer 21mm M39, I had to use the stepup ring because you cannot focus the short distance. The back of the lens is too close to the sensor. With other lenses, like Tair 135, Helios 42, 44 and so on, everything worked perfectly. -

For some lens you have to use a step up ring M39->M42 and an adapter M42-Fuji X because the distance between the sensor and the back of the lens -
I own the three, 14, 23 f/2 and 35 f/1.4. For me the 18 is too close to the 14 and my 23 is a fantastic lens. Probably is one of those well made

Thumbs Up or a Grip or both or nothing (or half case)
lleo replied to kivi's topic in Other Fuji X Accessories
I've never been into commercial gadgets. However I bought a grip because with my X-E2 when holding it my thumb goes on the AE-L AF-L buttons. That said now it works fine. The thumbgrip for me is absurd since if you have a flash, you have to detach one and attach the other every time you need it. Also. With the thumbgrip mounted it's a pain in the butt turn the speed dial. -
Difference with the 14mm at f/16 1:1 crop

From the album: various

1:1 crop of the 23mm f/2 at f/8 probably
