  1. Some airborne, some not... X-T1, 56 1.2 APD
  2. A fine example of how it's the photographer, not the (latest) gear that matters. You have marvelous shots in that article, thanks for sharing!
  3. Local art festival, pitch black location and only a few spots and candles illuminating the artists. X-T1, 56 1.2 APD
  4. Just paint your X-T10 pink and yellow and add some Hello Kitty stickers and it will be non-threatening too...
  5. Cap Gris Nez, France. Fujifilm X100T
  6. Late descent into Barcelona, too late to catch the sunset but we were lucky to catch some colour between cloud layers. Fujifilm X100T.
  7. And another.
  8. Impromptu shot of Xandra, while shooting family portraits for her family. X-T1, 56 1.2 APD. Just classic chrome and minor skin cleanup.
  9. 16mm at f1.4, iso 6400, 3.5 seconds will do the trick
  10. That is badass
  11. I'm sure you will, I only started a year ago.
  12. I didn't know my wife has a sister :-)
  13. This video is a good start https://youtu.be/7ZVyNjKSr0M

  16. 1, 2 and 5 stand out! Nice work!
  17. A storm over Antwerp with a rainbow, an unlikely hitchhiker and an early morning climbing out into Swiss airspace, coming from Venice...
  18. I own both, they are different tools. The X100T is my carry everywhere camera, when I have time, I tend to take the X-T1 too. For shots that matter, I favour the X-T1. But the X100T is with me at times I wouldn't think of bringing the X-T1... And I never use the OVF anymore, the EVF is just far superior for most of my uses.
  19. I own the 56 APD, and as you comment, it's a nice one to have just for the uniqueness. I don't miss the loss of light at all, but the bokeh is stupendous. If I could only have one lens, this would be it. I've seen some go second hand for same price as a new normal 56, so well worth a shot. Mine did have to be serviced twice though, first the autofocus motor died, then optical assembly was horribly unsharp. Now it's crazy sharp, so watch out when you get a second hand one without testing it.
  20. As long as it isn't bigger, should be ok. I would prefer a tad smaller, but only a tad. X-T1 has a perfect size/weight ratio, so something in that ballpark will do fine.

    Thanks
  22. Thanks! Last one was shot with the 16 1.4. X100T was not wide enough, or I would have used that one. Keeping an eye on the distortion is key, there is some going on, but it's not too exaggerated. You could just get the WCL for the X100. It will give you a bit more wide angle at a low price. You can find them second hand easily.
  23. I travel a lot too, and I always use long telephoto range the least. In my eyes, the X100T is still the ultimate travel camera. But an X-T10 and the kit 18-55 and one fast prime (18, 35) would be a close second. I don't understand the need to always "have all ranges" covered. Simplify your kit while travelling, enjoy the trip, and the shots will follow. If you are a fan of really wide, the 10-24 would make a good kit with a 35 or 56 prime. For wildlife, you'll pretty much want long and fast, because wildlife hides during the day and comes out at dusk and dawn, when slow telephoto zooms break down... Until the 100-400 comes out, there is not really any viable option for wildflife in my opinion.
  24. Why this hasn't been addressed yet is beyond me... People have been asking about this for a long time now...
