I am absulately sure that 35mm f1.4 is not faster than 56mm f1.2 Seems like emotional test to me.

Lightroom Dashboard for Photos Analystics
tarikolmez replied to Malsam's topic in General Discussion
You should be able to see it in library tab. As far as i remember, there was filter button for this. Play around and you will find it. I actually liked Aperture(Mac) for this. But after apple decided to unsupport it, i switched to LR but i cant find the same taste to be honest. (for archive purposes)- 3 replies

Is X-T2 actually coming out in 2016? As per Fujifilm Turkey in Ankara there is no such plan. At least they have never had any info from Japan!

Anyone used the Rokinon/Samyang 85mm?
tarikolmez replied to MilkAndCookiesKiller's topic in Adapting lenses to Fuji X
I had rokinon 85mm f1.4, sold it a year later. It had way too much CA, soft @f1.4 but tack sharp @f2 It basically you get what you pay for lens. btw it was almost impossible to focus @f1.4. Depending on what you will use it for, you need to consider this as well. -
I have 23 and 56 already. If i would starting over, they would be: 16mm+23mm+90mm

I am a fan of Ryan Brenizer. You should try with 56mm @f1.2, gives me awesome results. I ll upload few examples later on.

I got an email today from 1X, One of my photos has been published. So glad that it is with X-T1 because I was always saying I feel free with this camera and able to capture more. Here is the link: https://1x.com/photo/1053916 I have tried my chance maybe 20 times before and never succeded. Maybe I should get a lottery today

I have been using Canon 6D + various lenses for weddings/events/newborns Switched to X-T1 + 23mm + 56mm and 10-24mm about 18 months ago and I loved it. YN560mk2 works fine with x-t1, lately i added yn622c and yn622 tx for off camera flash setup. Here is my website: www.benimlemisiniskocyali.com

I have updated Lightroom CC to 6.3 and LR suddenly got very slow with Xtrans files. Even slower than before. Is anyone else suffering from same?

I set exp.comp. to 0. and it doesnt effect anything in m mode. Lets say you use aperture priorty mode, then exp.comp. matters. It is for semi auto modes such as Aperture/shutter/ISO priority modes.

Manuel Focus: Set the dial in front to M Manuel ISO: just set the ISO dial to any ISO value Manuel Aperture: It on the lens. Just dont keep it at A Manuel Shutter: I use my xt1 with "T" all the time. When you do above. It is completely manuel.

Not m42 but these 2 below was the best I have ever used, Canon FD 50mm f1.4 (sharpest I have ever used even @f1.4) Yashica ML 50mm f1.4 (Soft at f1.4 but razor sharp at f2) I heard that Rollei is a good one too. But never used it. Helios is cheap and fun lens. But dont expect much.

I recently used 10-24 for my Italy trip. and shot all my 850 photos with it and just loved the lens. It is a must have lens for travellers.

I have been using 10-24 for about 4 months by now. And I simply loved it. Sharpest wide angle I have used so far. Great lens for landscape as well as Arhitecture. Distortion is not even visible and there is no ca i came across so far. In the meantime 16mm f1.4 is also tempting If i have to prefer 1 one of them it would be 10-24 because i have 23mm. If i have to pick 1 lens for all purposes that would be 16mm f1.4

I tried Peter's preset for sharpening. I doesnt help for close up object/subject. Or portrait. For portrait work best sharpening for my taste was amount 50, radius 1, detail 0-5, masking 0-30 I shoot weddings and newborns mostly.
