Azimuth got a reaction from pw-pix in landscapes with fuji x
I think seascapes belong in the landscape forum. No need for a separate forum.

Azimuth got a reaction from Begi Nabara in The Best.
A lens is only as good as the photos created with it.

Azimuth got a reaction from mdm in Would you dump your 14mm and 23mm for a 10-24 zoom? - Why or why not?
In your shoes I would just keeping using the 14 and 23 and be happy.

Azimuth got a reaction from Curiojo in Fujifilm will launch the first X series camera with 1” sensor in about 3 months (Anonymous Source)
I would prefer them to go as small as possible, competing with the Panasonic LX100 and Sony RX100.
Not sure how that would succeed in the current market, though.

if I only had primes it would be 14, 35, 56 or 60

Azimuth got a reaction from jeremyclarke in Firmware 4 - My main issue
As others have said, its nice to have options.
It is perfectly feasible to leave the camera on AF-S or manual focus and shoot the same way you were shooting before 4.0 arrived.
Personally, I am lukewarm about the zone tracking, but really happy with continuous focusing that really works now and better functionality from the phase-detect points.

Azimuth got a reaction from IQ-Foto in X-T1 FW 4.0 BETA: I have it and share my findings soon ;)
Went for a lunch walk, practiced with the 35mm 1.4 and 14mm 2.8
AF-C Wide Tracking is really amazing for tracking trams, cars, horses, etc. Spot on every frame with minimal effort.
The 3x3 zone AF-S focuses very quickly with the 35mm lens. This will probably be my default AF mode from now on.

The 35mm does not pulse back and force anymore it just locks on!! amazing!! The 23mm and 56mm are just as good as before.

I could, but it probably won't install on my Pentax K-5ii. And since the thread says "I'll test it for you...."

Fuji X is great for landscape. Don't let all the megapixels guys fool you. I get very acceptable 20x30 prints from my XT-1 - such as this... with 18-55mm @ ISO 200.
