Trenton Talbot reacted to mrPeter in Anyone else disappointed w/ build quality?
Looks like you never handled a X-T4, mine has metal dials, the flip-out screen feels as solid as on any other camera that has one and overall build quality is as good or better than any other camera that is/was in my posession.
Did you register an account here just to come spread fake information?

I must admit this post really surprised me, I have just moved from a Canon DSLR and apart from the articulated screen not feeling as robust, and the battery/connector doors a little brittle, I thought the build quality was good. To me everything feels really solid.

Here you can post your night photographs (done with Fuji X cameras, of course!)
This includes all kinds of night photography, from night portraiture to star trails and even time lapse.
To prime the topic: Fuji X-T1, 55-200, 3 small strobes. Minimal post processing.

Accidental selfie in the night forest. X-T1, XF14mm, 2 flashes, 1 light wand.
I was actually just checking the key light…

Trenton Talbot got a reaction from George_P in Disappointed with Fuji X-T1 Firmware 4.0? We have tipps for you...
Did a few tracking tests today using an inexperienced shooter (my fiancee) and myself as a subject. Obviously, one needs a checklist of possible screw-ups, as at first I thought that the tracking was just as unbearably slow and unreliable as before. Took a few tries to finally recall that MS+ES mode disables PDAF. And then…
THIS IS SPARTAAAA!
X-T1, 56/1.2 wide open.

Trenton Talbot got a reaction from nDman in Not a lot of love for the 14mm
Wut?! Once upon a time there was a fanboy post about XF 14mm titled "The best Leica lens Fuji ever made" or something like that… still true. Tack sharp, very clever construction (you don't have to worry about vignetting and internal reflections with filters), light and fast. Love this little gem.
(X-T1, XF 14mm, 26 seconds from tripod; air temperature is around -22F)

A very interesting (although unintended) test of the X-Trans sensor capabilities: dynamic range of the scene (metered) was over 20 stops.

Trenton Talbot got a reaction from sir_c in 56mm f/1.2 - Aperture stopped clicking
Gotta love forums.
– After a short run on highway 85, my car stopped and won't turn back on. There's a clicking noise coming from under the hood, black smoke and some flames. Just a little, I haven't tried to put them off yet. Oh, and it also leaks gasoline.
– Oh dear, oh dear, I've been driving on highway 85 too! I hope it won't happen to me!…

Trenton Talbot got a reaction from Curiojo in Bag for X-T1 plus 50-140mm Zoom
Have a look at ThinkTank Retrospective 7. It's small (and flat) enough to be a dedicated mirrorless bag, yet large enough to accommodate a "big" 70-200/2.8 lens. It will swallow that 50-140 with hood attached without hiccups
