  1. The first photo below of a church is one of hundreds photos I took today that is just to send to recycle bin. It was taken with a Fujifilm X-T4 camera in bright sunsine (the sun is behind me). It is a mystery why the quality in so bad on this photo (and on hundred others I took same day in bright sunshine). Compare to a photo I took with my iPhone some days earlier on same church. I have some homework to do on the X-T4 camera usage obviously. Not all photos had bad quality I took today with my X-T4, see one example in last photo below, but it is not so sharp really and it is too dark also. /Bo

    Introduce Yourself

Welcome. I'm looking forward to you photos from Scotland. I'm likewise thinking of the x-t30 myself. What lens?

  3. Hi 🙂 I had a Canon 100D which was my first camera and I recently got an XT30. I feel I use it a lot more than my Canon and really like it so far. Im still in a bit of a dilemma about which software to use. I’m used to using Lightroom and find it’s better value for money than Capture One as it has mobile apps and offers Photoshop etc. too. Ive got the free version of Capture One but have only used it a couple of times. I think I prefer the interface of Lightroom.

  4. Hello, I've been a Canon user (amateur) for 12 years (30d - 7d - 6d), only used Fujifilm F50fd before, which was my first digital camera (and I wasn't quite happy with it because of noise). Now I'm going to switch the system, for multiple reasons. So I've got X-T3 and just one lens for start (16-80 f/4). I will miss my two EF L-lenses, though... Also, I tried to switch to Capture One - as I heard, it's the best processor for Fuji's raw files, tried it, but still have to stick with Lightroom because one important feature is missing from C1 - generating HDR image from bracketed shots, and I use it quite often.

  5. The first photo looks like if you shoot in manual mode (front switch) without manually acquiring focus or your camera is set to take a picture without confirmation that focus is ok.

  6. Great photo. I’m getting used to using manual mode and really like my Fuji so far. I find I’m more inclined to take it out with me compared to my old camera I have a video call this week with a Fuji guy to go through any queries. Great service to offer and I think it’ll be really useful.

  7. I updated to v 1.02 firmware on my X-T4 today and have the same experience. Turn the camera on and I see the LCD but the EVF and all buttons on the camera do not work. After about 10 seconds the EVF comes alive and all is well. The buttons work and the camera seems fine. Turn it off and the same thing happens when turned back on. This needs to be fixed soon.

  8. im new to this forum but no stranger to fuji @LEEP sorry to hear your having issues as well! I’ve been shooting on an xt1 since the first release, I just upgraded to the xt4 last week. As soon as I unpacked it, fiddled with it and connected it to my phone, it prompted for a firmware update and I figured why not.... bad move? Jury is still out. since then, randomly, maybe every third time I go to use the camera it won’t turn on. I’ll have to completely remove the battery and put it back in and it fires right up. It doesn’t happen every time, but enough to be obnoxious for. $2k camera. Formatted the cards, checked power settings etc. Fully charged the batteries. Yesterday I did the new firmware update to 2.54 hoping for the issues to be fixed. Nope. If anything, it’s even more buggy now, still won’t turn on randomly. And there’s another issue with the kit lens 16-80 f4, where at f4 it won’t auto focus if I’m zoomed in. But I can cycle power, and if it turns on then it’ll focus again. I haven’t looked into this one yet. Im hoping it all gets resolved with firmware, I’m patient for now. hopefully all goes well with yours, I’m hoping to not have to send it off
