Oh My Gosh! Just received a GREAT RUMOR! Just a Hint for now... more soon!

Recommended Posts

There will be no actual X-Pro 2. Instead the teased rumor is about something that will replace the X-Pro 1 but it will not be called X-Pro, because it is too different technology-wise. The "major breakthrough" that fuji said it wanted to wait for with the X-Pro2 is too major to stay with the X-Pro branding. Hence a new camera section in this forum.

WOW, I just got an amazing rumor from a source, who was right in the past. Can't share more for now, since I still have to write the text (I'll write it after lunch), send it to the source for review and wait for its “OK”. Just stay tuned on FujiRumors and the Fuji X Forum.

But I tell you this... we could need a New Camera Section (!!!) here on the Fuji X Forum!

btw, I wrote this thread during coffee break... as you can see in the Selfie I share here with you (used WiFi remote control)

X30 with larger sensor I guess

If I had to guess then I would say a new organic sensor with a 1.3X crop factor that can still be used with existing lenses, the megapixel count will be 20 MP and if its in the next X Pro they aren't going to call it that anymore. Downside, a new crop factor shortens all our lenses so I don't know if I would bite on that given the investment I have made in glass for the focal length equivalents.

X-E3? An XT10 in a rangefinder style body? It would potentially divide the custom base from Fuji's perspective - but there is clearly some level of demand for both. Maybe to coincide with an XPro2 Launch in late Autumn

If it's something that would create a "new camera section" I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's a camera that combines the image quality of the X-Series with the fun of the Instax series. Might be kinda cool!

    • Has anyone found or successfully adapted a walking pole as a monopod?? I’m off to Chile and need to keep kit small and light but expect high winds. X-pro2 user. Thanks
    • thank you, I just bought this from a market place, the pictures from the store did not show that particular micro scratch. After asking this and showing the picture above to seller, he said that it is not micro scratch, instead it is micro dust from behind the lens..hmmmmmm
    • To directly answer part of your question, the voltage is safe and the current seems sufficient. The images of the LB-50 look okay, but to be certain it will fit, you need to check the dimensions closely, the corner notch in particular. Why not pick up a couple of the NP-50 replacement batteries? They are readily available and low cost (I know you said budget is not much of a consideration). That way you will have plenty of back up battery and use the spare change to get another storage card.
    • Hi! I'm new to the work of Fujifilm, please please bear with me. I bought a used X-A3 for an every day carry. I've been learning the functionality through the manual and Youtube where I can. I've been trying to shoot in Manual (M) mode but when I put it in this mode the camera displays 'P'. If I have custom settings saved it will shoot in the custom settings. The same happens when I try to shoot in Shutter Priority (S). The Aperture (A) mode works fine and so does the Program AE (P) mode. Any thoughts out there as to the reason for this. "User error" is an acceptable answer.
    • Hi all, I was looking for a battey replacement/upgrade for my X10. Would the Lectrosonic LB-50 1000mah work here? What are you guys using instead? Budget isn't too much of a consideration, just wanted a reliable upgrade. Thanks!
